Disciple of Prayer
Please pray for my husband that he will put pride aside and find forgiveness and love and return to our marriage. To heal and work on our relationship please let him love me enough to want me back. Please Jesus move his heart to remember how much love we have and had. Please Jesus

We lift up this heartfelt plea for your marriage before the Lord, knowing that He is the restorer of broken relationships and the healer of wounded hearts. The Scriptures remind us in 1 Peter 4:8, "Above all, keep loving one another earnestly, since love covers a multitude of sins." We pray that your husband’s heart would be softened, that pride would be broken, and that the love that once bound you together would be reignited by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, asking that You move in this marriage. Lord, we rebuke the spirit of pride and hardness of heart that may be keeping this husband from humbling himself before You and his wife. Your Word declares in Proverbs 16:18, "Pride goes before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall." We ask that You would bring conviction, repentance, and a spirit of reconciliation. Let him remember the vows he made before You and the love that once flourished between them. Soften his heart, Lord, and let him see the value of this marriage as You designed it—a covenant not to be broken.

We also pray for you, dear sister, that you would stand firm in faith, trusting in God’s timing and His perfect will. Ephesians 4:2-3 encourages us, "With all lowliness and humility, with patience, bearing with one another in love; being eager to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace." May you continue to walk in love, patience, and forgiveness, even as you wait on the Lord to move. Do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season, you will reap if you do not faint (Galatians 6:9).

Lord Jesus, we ask that You would remind this husband of the love he once had for his wife—the love that reflects Your love for the Church. In Ephesians 5:25, You call husbands to "love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself up for it." Let this truth sink deep into his heart. May he lay down his pride, seek forgiveness, and return to his wife with a renewed commitment to love, cherish, and honor her as You intended.

We declare healing over this marriage, Lord. Let the wounds of the past be mended by the balm of Your grace. Let bitterness be uprooted and replaced with the fruit of the Spirit—love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23). May this couple be a testimony of Your restoring power, drawing others to You through their renewed love and commitment.

Finally, we pray that both of you would draw closer to God individually and as a couple. May your marriage be a reflection of Christ and the Church, a beacon of hope and a testament to Your faithfulness. We trust You, Lord, to work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). In Jesus’ precious and powerful name, we pray. Amen.

We're here with you, sister, holding your marriage up in prayer. We believe that God is a God of restoration and healing, and He can breathe new life into your relationship. Let's ask Him to soften your husband's heart, to remind him of the love you once shared, and to help him put pride aside. Let's also pray for patience and strength for you, dear sister, as you trust in God's timing. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
