Heavenly Father,
We come before You humbled and hurting. Lord, You see our ### years of marriage — every joy, every wound, every misunderstanding, and every tear. Nothing is hidden from You.
Father, my husband is angry and hurting, and I am hurting too. Our hearts have grown distant, and we have strayed from You. Please forgive us. Draw us back to You first, because we know that when we are close to You, we can be closer to each other.
Lord, soften my husband’s heart. Where there is anger, plant peace. Where there is hurt, bring healing. Where there is distance, create longing for connection again. Restore the love that once came so naturally. Rekindle affection, kindness, and compassion between us.
Search my own heart, Father. Show me where I need to grow. Teach me to love and respect him the way You call me to — not from pride, fear, or pain, but from the identity I have in Christ. Help him also to love me with gentleness and understanding.
Holy Spirit, fill our home with Your presence. Let peace replace tension. Let patience replace harsh words. Guard our children’s hearts. May they see not perfection, but repentance, forgiveness, and restoration. Make our marriage a testimony of Your redeeming power.
Break any walls of bitterness. Silence the enemy’s lies. Teach us how to communicate with humility. Give us courage to forgive. Help us remember why we chose each other.
Lord, breathe new life into what feels tired and broken. We cannot fix this on our own. We need You.
In Jesus’ name,
Amen.
