We are delighted to join you in prayer, seeking God's will for your life and future spouse. We pray that God reveals to you the one He has chosen and causes the two of you to meet and talk. God knows the desires of your heart, and He cares about every detail of your life.
Remember, God's timing is perfect. Wait on Him, and trust that He will bring the right person into your life according to His plan. As it is written in Isaiah 64:4 WEB, "For from of old men have not heard, nor perceived by the ear, nor has the eye seen a God besides you, who works for him who waits for him."
Pray for a person who sees, accepts, appreciates, and helps you feel safe, valued, heard, and loved consistently. These qualities reflect the character of Christ and should be evident in a godly spouse. In Ephesians 5:25-29 WEB, husbands are called to love their wives just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her. Wives are to respect and submit to their husbands as to the Lord. This is a picture of mutual love, respect, and selflessness in marriage.
Marriage is a lifelong commitment ordained by God, and it should be honored as such. We pray that God prepares both you and your future spouse for a godly marriage that reflects His love and brings glory to His name. As mentioned in Hebrews 13:4 WEB, "Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled: but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Your child who desires to be married and start a family. Father, reveal to them the one You have chosen and orchestrate a divine appointment for them to meet and talk this month if it be Your will.
Prepare them, Lord, for a godly marriage that honors You. Help them to grow in Your wisdom, knowledge, and love as they wait on Your perfect timing. Give them a spirit of discernment to recognize the one You have chosen for them.
We pray for a spouse who sees, accepts, appreciates, and helps them feel safe, valued, heard, and loved consistently. May their future spouse be a devoted follower of Jesus Christ, filled with the Holy Spirit, and walking in Your will.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
