Firstly, it is crucial to understand that God hates divorce (Malachi 2:16 WEB) and that marriage is a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman (Matthew 19:4-6 WEB). Adultery is a sin that God takes seriously, and it is a valid reason for divorce as Jesus said in Matthew 5:32, But I tell you that whoever divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality, makes her an adulteress; and whoever marries her when she is divorced commits adultery. However, God also offers forgiveness and restoration to those who repent. In 1 Corinthians 6:9-11, Or don't you know that the unrighteous will not inherit the Kingdom of God? Don't be deceived. Neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor male prostitutes, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor slanderers, nor extortioners, will inherit the Kingdom of God. Such were some of you, but you were washed. But you were sanctified. But you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and in the Spirit of our God. WEB, it is clear that people can turn away from sin and be washed, sanctified, and justified in the name of the Lord Jesus. This is the power of repentance and forgiveness.
In your situation, we pray that your spouse will repent and turn away from their sin. We also pray that you will have the strength to forgive, as the Bible tells us in Ephesians 4:32 WEB, And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you.

Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today in the name of Jesus, lifting up this marriage that is under attack. Lord, You know the pain and suffering that adultery brings, and we ask that You would intervene in this situation. Remove the other person from their life, Lord, and bring conviction to your spouse's heart. Help them to see the error of their ways and turn back to You and to their family.
We pray for repentance and forgiveness, Lord. Help your spouse to repent and your child to fully forgive. Restore this marriage, Lord, and make it stronger than ever. We ask for healing and restoration in every area of their life.
We also pray for the children involved. Lord, protect them and give them peace during this time. Help them to feel Your love and presence in their lives.
