We are truly sorry to hear that you and your spouse have been going through a tough time in your marriage. We will stand with you in prayer, seeking God's protection, healing, and the softening of hearts.
Let's remember what the WEB says, First in Second Chronicles 7:14, if my people, who are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. Also, in Malachi 2:16, For I hate divorce, says Yahweh, the God of Israel, and him who covers his garment with violence! says Yahweh of Armies. Therefore, take heed to your spirit, that you do not deal treacherously.
We should remember that God hates divorce, and His desire is for couples to be united and live harmoniously together. In Ephesians 4:31-32 "Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander, be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you."
As we pray for you, we encourage you both to humble yourselves, pray together, seek God's face, and turn away from any sin that may be causing division. Trust in the Lord's promise to hear your prayers, forgive your sins, and bring healing to your marriage.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up this marriage to You, Lord. We pray for Your divine protection, healing, and the softening of their hearts. Help them to forgive each other as You have forgiven us. Turn their hearts toward each other and toward You. We pray that they would humble themselves, seek Your face, and turn from any wicked ways. Help them to see the treasure that they have in their spouse and make their marriage stronger and better than it ever was before.
We ask this in the precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ, Amen.
Remember to keep your hearts open to each other and to the Lord. Be patient and loving, just as Christ is patient and loving toward us. May this be your prayer of salvation as well if you are not saved already. Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and confess with your mouth, Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, and you will be saved. Be encouraged, and may God richly bless your marriage.
