We understand your deep longing for companionship and a family of your own. God has designed marriage to be a beautiful union between a man and a woman, reflecting the relationship between Christ and His church. As it is written in Ephesians 5:31-32 WEB: "For this cause a man will leave his father and mother, and will be joined to his wife. The two will become one flesh. This mystery is great, but I speak concerning Christ and of the church."
Firstly, we commend you on asking for all of this in Jesus' name. This is the only way to ask and is the only mediator to God the Father. Jesus said in John 14:6 WEB, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." Also, we read in Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."
We pray that God will lead you to a fellow believer who will accept, appreciate, and love you as Christ loves the church. We pray for a spouse who will make you feel safe, valued, heard, and loved consistently, as this reflects the unconditional love that God has for us. Remember, "Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself up for her" Ephesians 5:25 WEB.
We ask God to reveal 'the one' He has prepared for you according to His perfect will and timing. We stand with you in faith, believing that God will cause you both to meet and talk this month if that is His plan. Be patient and trust in the Lord's timing, for He has planned things at an appointed time and they are wonderful Psalms 102:13.
Use this time of waiting to draw closer to God, to grow in your faith, and to become the person that God has called you to be. Remember, "The LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone. I will make him a helper comparable to him" Genesis 2:18 WEB. God does not want you to be alone, and He will provide a helper suitable for you and that is not another man but a woman. Also, it is better to marry than to burn with passion 1 Corinthians 7:9 WEB.
Lastly, we caution you to avoid anything that is not honoring to God and the marriage bed. Flee from sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body 1 Corinthians 6:18.
Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, we lift up this beloved child of Yours and ask that You will bring them together with their future spouse this month if that is Your will. Help them to recognize each other when they meet. Comfort them in their loneliness and help them to know that You are always there for them. In Jesus' name, we pray.
