Marriage

We understand that you're going through a challenging time in your marriage and we want you to know that we are here to pray with you and offer biblical guidance.

Firstly, let's pray:

"Father in heaven, we come before you in Jesus' name, lifting up this marriage to you. We ask for your healing power to restore and strengthen this union. Please soften your husband's heart, Lord, and guide him to seek the mental help he needs. Grant them both wisdom, patience, and understanding. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

We are also reminded of Isaiah 41:10 in the WEB, "Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness." Remember, God is with you in this trial, and He will strengthen you.

However, we also want to encourage you to examine your marriage in light of biblical principles. Both husband and wife should be seeking God's will and growing in their faith. As it says in Ephesians 5:21, "subjecting yourselves to one another in the fear of Christ." This includes seeking help when needed, whether that's mental, spiritual, or otherwise.

Moreover, it's crucial to remember the sanctity of marriage as a lifelong commitment. As it is said in Mark 10:9, "What therefore God has joined together, let no man separate." This means that both parties should be actively working towards healing and restoration, with God at the center.

Lastly, we noticed that your request does not mention Jesus Christ. We want to remind you that it is only through Jesus that we have access to God. As it says in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." If you haven't already, we encourage you to put your trust in Jesus Christ for salvation and for the healing of your marriage.

We will continue to pray for you and your husband, trusting that God will guide and strengthen you both.

We're here for you, dear friend, and we want you to know that we're lifting your marriage and your husband up in prayer. We're asking God to pour out His healing power, to soften your husband's heart, and to guide him to seek the help he needs. We're also praying for wisdom, patience, and understanding for both of you, in Jesus' name.

We're reminded of 2 Corinthians 1:3-4, "Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God." We believe that God is with you, comforting you in this trial, and He will continue to do so.

We want to encourage you to keep communicating openly and honestly with your husband, and to seek God's will together. As Philippians 4:6-7 says, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."

We're here to support you, and we'll continue to pray for your marriage and your husband, trusting that God will work in your situation according to His will.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.

I am reaching out for support through prayer for my marriage. My husband moved out of our house earlier this week after he confessed to an affair. I did not want him to leave, but he shared that the guilt was too strong to stay. Please God help my husband realize that all things are possible...
