Marriage

Pray for my marriage. I need direction. My husband left 4 months ago. He's a veteran with PTSD. He is so stuck on wanting a divorce, yet he wants me to file. I want what is pleasing to the Lord! I need guidance. Thank you.

Holy God and loving Father, I consciously place my fears, worries, anxieties, and burdens in your hands. I know that I have so little power to change the outcome of these events and I trust that you will work what is pleasing to you, and best for me, out of these situations. Forgive me for my anxious thoughts and for letting my own worry become an idol that robs you of my full trust. Strengthen and empower me to trust you more by the power and presence of your Spirit. SBC, may you be blessed as a praying wife. As you deal with this situation, please continue to seek God, along with counseling and legal advice. There may be some legal reason that your husband wants you to file for the divorce. May God send peace and wisdom to this situation.

I pray for you and your husband's mental state. Our situation sounds very similar! My husband left me (for the second time) about 4 months ago. He too has PTSD and wants a divorce after 3 years of marriage.  His mental state needs prayer. He says he loves me but thinks it's best if he leaves. I pray in Jesus Name he will give you clarity.

It's truly an awful thing to deal with. I will keep you and your husband in prayer as well. Lord, heal these men, reveal your love to them, may they see themselves the way God sees them. Give them a purpose and passion to live life in your goodness...for nothing is too hard for you! Please Father, heal their minds, rebuke the enemy from their lives. Build them up in Christ, may they No longer fall for the lies of the enemy. In Jesus name I ask. Amen!
