Marriage Trouble

Lord,

I thank you for all you have done and continue to do in my life -- I thank you for the hard times, for I know that is how you build character and perserverance in me.

I am having a hard time in my marriage. Please make it clear to me why I say, do and feel the way I feel in this marriage. I know that my husband and I have problems but I told him that I don't know about us. I told him that we will never be as close as we would have been prior to him commiting adultery. I know we were separated when this happened but it still hurts. There are SO many other problems Lord. Please help us Lord. Show me what to do to make it better. Help him to support me and have faith and trust in you for the answers. I know there are so many other issues in our marriage. Help me to deal with the REAL problems and not blame everything on the affair. I do; however Lord, pray that you will remove him from his work place into a different work place so that we can start anew...without this constant reminder. Help us Lord and thank you for loving us and always being there when I need you.

Please cover this man and wife in Your love and protection today. We pray forgiveness and humility would rule over their house. We ask for new employment for this man. Thank you for a complete restoration in Jesus' Name. Help them to forgive, even when they don't think it's deserved. Just like you, Jesus, we want to go the extra mile. Comfort and cover this wife as she thanks you for bringing this man back home. Repair all breaches as only You can do, Jesus. Nothing is too hard for You o Lord! Restore the love as it once was, I pray! May they both attempt to outdo each other in servant-love I pray. In Your Name, Jesus.

Lord, I feel the betrayal in this wife's prayer, the hurt, pain and sorrow that is associated with it. It runs so deep inside of her that she is having trouble letting it go.

I ask for your help, Lord. Help her to truly forgive her husband for this transgression. Help her to see that it wasn't done to hurt her in any way, that something happened and now it is time to try to put the pieces of this relationship back together again.

Place your hand of mercy upon her today, give her the tools she needs to deal with this situation in a loving and forgiving way. If she needs help, show her where to find it, not only for herself but for both of them. I pray that this marriage will find a way to be restored. We all make mistakes in our life, things we do that haunt us and cause us a great price. Maybe this is where her husband is today, maybe he feels the guilt and shame and wants forgiveness. Lord, I place this prayer in your hands and leave it at your throne. Show her the way Lord. Give her wisdom in all her decision making and bring healing to her broken heart. I thank you Lord for your hand upon her. Amen
