All, I ask your continued prayers for my wife who continues to refuse to look at herself and her commitment to her family to stay married. I had a meeting with the lawyers today. We found out today that my wife cannot file divorce against me since she hasn't been a state resident for 6 months. When they asked me to file, I refused on the grounds that the divorce is against God's Covenant of marriage and we should be seeking reconciliation. My wife then said no, that she refuses, that years of emotional and mental abuse have killed it for her. I am completely dumbfounded as to where she has come up with that and have always been supportive and encouraging. Up until 3 months ago, she still loved me and was very happy. We did argue badly at times, but always made up contritely and lovingly. She is being coached by someone or something which is making her see bad things where they don't exist. She even said our priest said we should get a divorce as our marriage was on the rocks, which is not what he said. Her heart is hard and perception is skewed. Please pray that she is able to see that she is under the influence of something evil and is heading down the wrong path. Pray that God's Grace covers her and helps her see what she is truly doing to her family.
