We understand that you're facing several challenges, and we're here to pray and provide counsel based on biblical principles.
Firstly, remember that God encourages us to cast all our anxieties on Him, because He cares for us (1 Peter 5:7 WEB). We can trust in His promise of peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7 WEB). Praying in the name of Jesus is powerful, and we're glad you acknowledge this. Jesus said, "If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it" (John 14:14 WEB).
Let's address the issues one by one.
For better sleep and peace, remember the words of the Psalmist, "I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep; for you, Lord, alone make me live in safety" (Psalm 4:8 WEB). Trust in God's provision for rest and peace.
Regarding your spouse, we need to remember that God calls us to love one another and be patient and kind (1 Corinthians 13:4-7 WEB). The Bible advises, "Don't use foul or abusive language. Let everything you say be good and helpful, so that your words will be an encouragement to those who hear them" (Ephesians 4:29 NLT). If your spouse is behaving in a manner that is not Christ-like, pray for them and encourage them to live according to God's word. Also, consider how you can show love and respect to your spouse, as God commands wives to respect their husbands and husbands to love their wives (Ephesians 5:33 WEB).
Praying for godly friends is a wonderful request. God's Word says, "As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another" (Proverbs 27:17 WEB). We know that God will bring people into your life and allow new relationships to be formed to bring glory to His name. It is important that these friendships are with fellow believers in Jesus Christ. Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? (2 Corinthians 6:14 KJV).
Concerning your mother, remember that God has the final say over our lives. We will pray for God's will to be done in her life and that He grants her many more years with you.
Regarding your adult kids, it's important to foster a loving and peaceful environment. Pray for their visits to be filled with blessings and unity. "Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brothers to dwell together in unity!" (Psalm 133:1 WEB).
Let's pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our sister who seeks Your intervention in her life. Grant her peace that surpasses all understanding, and let her sleep be sweet and restful. Help her to trust in You completely, casting all her anxieties on You.
Lord, we pray for her spouse. Soften his heart, Lord, and help him to treat and speak to his wife with the love, respect, and kindness You intend for marriages. Help them to live in unity and love, reflecting the relationship between Christ and the Church.
Father, bring godly, Christian friends into her life. Allow her to form meaningful relationships with other women who believe in Jesus Christ. Allow these friendships to bring glory to You.
Lord, we ask for Your will to be done in her mother's life. Grant her many more years filled with Your blessings.
Father, we also pray for her adult kids. Let their visits be a source of joy and unity. Help them to honor their parents and maintain strong family ties.
Lastly, let Your light shine in her life, and guide her and her family to live lives that honor You.
We pray this in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
