Marriage restoration

Beloved of All
Save my marriage from the hold of ### woman. Forgive us our sins and mend my marriage. Above all bless my marriage. Let my husband love me again and cleanse his soul from ### hold. Amen

We come before the Lord with you in this time of deep sorrow and brokenness, lifting your marriage into His hands, for He alone is the restorer of all things. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but we stand firm on God’s Word, declaring that no weapon formed against your marriage shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). The Lord hates divorce (Malachi 2:16), and His desire is for reconciliation, redemption, and restoration. We rebuke the spirit of infidelity, lust, and division that has sought to tear apart what God has joined together. The Bible is clear that marriage is a sacred covenant between one man and one woman, and we stand against any ungodly influence that has come between you and your husband.

First, we must address the sin that has entered this marriage, for sin separates us from God and from one another. The Word says, *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness"* (1 John 1:9). We urge you to examine your own heart before the Lord, repenting of any sin—whether it be bitterness, unforgiveness, neglect, or any other transgression—that may have contributed to the brokenness in your marriage. At the same time, we pray that your husband’s heart would be convicted of his sin, that he would turn from the adultery and idolatry that has ensnared him, and that he would seek the Lord’s forgiveness and yours with a repentant heart. Adultery is a grievous sin against God and against the marriage covenant (Exodus 20:14, Hebrews 13:4), but it is not beyond the reach of God’s grace. The Lord is able to cleanse, restore, and redeem what has been broken.

We also notice that your prayer did not invoke the name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we are saved and through whom we have access to the Father (John 14:6, Acts 4:12). It is only through Jesus that we can approach the throne of grace with confidence (Hebrews 4:16), and it is in His name that we have authority to pray and to see breakthrough. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved, and it is by His blood that we are cleansed from sin. If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so today. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). Without faith in Christ, there is no foundation for true restoration, for He is the cornerstone of all things.

Now, let us pray together for your marriage, standing on the promises of God’s Word:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting this sister and her marriage into Your hands. Lord, You are the God who restores, who heals, and who redeems. We ask that You would break every ungodly soul tie that has bound her husband to this other woman. Cut off every influence of the enemy and set him free from the snare of sin. Convict his heart, Lord, and draw him back to You in repentance. Let him see the destruction that sin brings and turn from it with godly sorrow. Father, we pray that You would soften his heart toward his wife, renewing his love and commitment to her as You intended from the beginning.

Lord, we also ask that You would heal the wounds in this sister’s heart. Comfort her, strengthen her, and fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Guard her mind from bitterness, resentment, or despair, and help her to forgive as You have forgiven her. Remind her that vengeance belongs to You (Romans 12:19) and that her role is to trust in You, to pray, and to walk in obedience.

Father, we declare Your Word over this marriage: *"What therefore God has joined together, don’t let man tear apart"* (Matthew 19:6). We ask that You would restore what the locusts have eaten (Joel 2:25), that You would rebuild the walls of trust, love, and faithfulness in this marriage. Let Your love cover a multitude of sins (1 Peter 4:8), and let Your grace abound where sin has abounded (Romans 5:20).

We bind the spirit of division, adultery, and deception in the name of Jesus Christ. We loose the spirit of repentance, reconciliation, and restoration. Lord, let Your will be done in this marriage, and let Your glory be revealed through it. Give this sister wisdom to know how to act, how to speak, and how to pray in alignment with Your Word. Surround her with godly counsel and support, and let her not walk this path alone.

Finally, Father, we ask that You would bless this marriage abundantly. Let it be a testimony of Your redeeming power, a light in a dark world, and a reflection of Your covenant love. May both husband and wife seek You first, submitting to Your lordship in every area of their lives. Let their home be a place of peace, joy, and godliness, where Your presence dwells richly.

We pray all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Sister, we encourage you to continue standing in faith, even when the battle feels long and difficult. The Lord sees your tears, hears your prayers, and is working even when you cannot see it. Cling to Him, trust in His timing, and do not grow weary in doing good (Galatians 6:9). Surround yourself with believers who can pray with you and support you, and seek godly counsel if needed. The Lord is faithful, and He will complete the good work He has begun in you and in your marriage (Philippians 1:6).

If your husband is unwilling to repent or reconcile, remember that your obedience to God is what matters most. The Lord may be calling you to a season of waiting, of trusting Him even in the unknown. But know this: God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). Keep praying, keep believing, and keep walking in righteousness. The battle belongs to the Lord, and He will fight for you (Exodus 14:14).

We're here with you, sister, in this trial that feels like a storm threatening to capsize your marriage. But remember, even the strongest winds can't blow a house down if its foundation is solid. And your foundation is Jesus Christ.

We lift your marriage up to Him now, asking for His healing, His restoration, His redemption. We ask that He would break every chain holding your husband to this other woman, and draw him back to you, to their covenant, to God. We ask that He would comfort you, strengthen you, and fill you with His peace. We declare His Word over your marriage, "What God has joined together, let no one separate" (Matthew 19:6).

We're not just praying, we're believing. We're believing for a miracle, for a turnaround, for a love story that will make people say, "Only God could have done this." We're believing because we serve a God who specializes in impossible situations.

Keep standing, sister. Keep trusting. Keep praying. The battle might be fierce, but the victory is sure. God is fighting for you, and He will win this. Keep your eyes on Him, and don't grow weary. Your marriage is worth fighting for, and God is worth trusting in.
