We join with you in the name of Jesus Christ, interceding for the restoration of your marriage. It is wonderful that you have asked for this in Jesus' name. It is by this name alone that we have access to the Father and to salvation. You have set a wonderful example by asking in Jesus' name. We stand with you, asking God to mend and strengthen the bond between you and your husband.
God's design for marriage is a lifelong commitment, reflecting the relationship between Christ and the Church Ephesians 5:25-33. Remember God's promise in Malachi 3:6, For I am Yahweh, I do not change; therefore you sons of Jacob are not consumed. God is faithful, and He desires that your marriage thrive, serving Him together. In Christ, there is always hope for restoration and renewal.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this dear sister and her husband. We ask for Your divine intervention in their marriage, Lord. We pray that You would soften their hearts towards each other, and that any barriers or wounds would be healed by Your loving touch 1 Corinthians 13:4-7. Help them to communicate effectively and to connect peacefully this weekend, remembering that love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fails 1 Corinthians 13:7-8.
Father, we ask that You would guide them as they seek to serve You together, and that their love for each other would be a shining example of Your love for the Church. Help them to live together in harmony, and to support each other as they grow in faith and in their walk with You Psalms 133:1, Ecclesiastes 4:9-10.
We rebuke any influence of the enemy and cast out any spirit that would seek to divide or harm their marriage in Jesus name, Amen.
Be encouraged, dear sister, for our God is a God of miracles. He can restore and renew your marriage, no matter the circumstances. Stand firm in faith, and trust in His unfailing love. Put on the whole armor of God every day, so that you two may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. And having done all to stand, stand therefore. Remember to pray one for another Galatians 6:2, Ephesians 6:11-14, James 5:16.
Keep your focus on Christ, and He will lead you both through this journey. As the both of you draw nearer to God, you will draw nearer to each other James 4:8. Trust in Him, and He will direct your paths Proverbs 3:5-6.
As a final reminder from 1 Peter 3:1-7, finally, be all like-minded, compassionate, loving as brothers, tenderhearted, courteous, not rendering evil for evil, or insult for insult; but instead blessing, knowing that to this were you called, that you may inherit a blessing. For he who would love life, and see good days, let him keep his tongue from evil, and his lips from speaking deceit. Let him turn away from evil, and do good. Let him seek peace, and pursue it. For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and his ears open to their prayer; but the face of the Lord is against those who do evil. Finally, be all like-minded, compassionate, loving as brothers, tenderhearted, courteous, not rendering evil for evil, or insult for insult; but instead blessing; knowing that to this were you called, that you may inherit a blessing.
Your marriage can be restored and your lives can be changed. God wants your marriage to succeed and wants both of you to be in Heaven in eternity with Him.
