Marriage restoration

Begarth, we are here to stand with you in prayer and to seek God's will for your marriage restoration. Let's first turn to God's Word, which teaches us about His heart for marriage:

"'For I hate divorce,' says Yahweh, the God of Israel, 'and him who covers his garment with violence!' says Yahweh of Armies. 'Therefore take heed to your spirit, that you don’t deal treacherously.'" (Malachi 2:16 WEB)

God's desire is for marriages to be whole and strong, reflecting the unity and love that He has for His people. Let us pray together for your marriage, ###:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today to lift up ###'s marriage to You. Lord, You know the depths of their hearts and the struggles they face. We ask that You would intervene, God, and bring healing, restoration, and unity to this marriage. Help them to forgive each other as You have forgiven us, and to love each other as Christ loves the Church.

"Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God in Christ also forgave you." (Ephesians 4:32 WEB)

Lord, we ask that You would guide ### and their spouse, that they may walk in Your ways and honor You in their marriage. Give them the strength to endure, the wisdom to understand, and the love to cherish one another.

###, we encourage you to trust in God and to follow His principles for marriage, as outlined in His Word:

"Therefore a man will leave his father and his mother, and will join with his wife, and they will be one flesh." (Genesis 2:24 WEB)

This union is sacred and should be nurtured with love, patience, and selflessness. Remember that God is faithful, and He can restore what may seem broken.

Lastly, ###, we want to ensure that your request is aligned with the authority of Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to God:

"In that day you will ask me no more. Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you." (John 16:23 WEB)

If you haven't already, we encourage you to place your faith in Jesus Christ, as it is through Him that we find salvation and the power to live a godly life.

We stand with you in faith, ###, trusting that God will work mightily in your marriage. Keep seeking Him and trusting in His goodness.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
