Dear Lord,
You know the very details of what is going on in Matthew's heart and mind. I pray that Your Holy Spirit would move in and not let him go until he has surrendered his will to Yours. I pray that any confusion or deception that has taken a hold of him be released, that the fog be cleared and that he see and recognize Truth only. May only Your will be done in his life, and not the enemy's. I pray for restoration and even a new and better relationship than these two have ever had as each surrenders all they are to You and seeks You and obeys You. Even when things look bleak, I know nothing is impossible with You. Your Awesome Word is full of examples of the impossible being accomplished by one obedient heart who harkened to Your voice and obeyed.
Father bring Patricia to that place of utter surrender and trust in You. Give her wisdom and guidance and draw her near. Help her not to give in to despair or discouragement or fear. Help her to enter the battle, spiritually, on her knees, for the soul of her husband and the future of her son. Show her Lord, guide her every step of the way. May Your name be glorified by the salvation of this marriage and family. In Jesus' name, I ask this, Amen.
