Marriage Restoration

I would like prayer for my marriage. There is a divorce pending. My husband Ray moved out in Aug. 2008 and served me with divorce papers in Oct. We have been married 27 yrs. He met a young woman on the job he is 26 yrs older than her and they are now living together. They had been seeing each other for six months before he moved out.I was told they were looking at wedding rings recently. I love my husband and have forgiven them both but I pray that, that unhealthy relationship would disolve and that my husband would return to the Lord and chose to come back home to me as well. I am the wife of his youth. I do not want this divorce by any means.

I pray Your will be done in this situation. Lord comfort Gloria. Help her to lean on You and be her Rock, Lord. Give her strength and direction. Reach her husband and open his eyes to any deception he has bought into. Help him to return to You and repent and seek forgiveness from all he has hurt, beginning with You. Father we are coming together in prayer for this hearts desire of a second chance in her marriage. Father God I pray that You will turn this situation around, and bring this man to his knees. I pray that You will loose the spirit of love, compassion and desire for reconcilliation over him and his life today. Father I pray that You will build a walll of protection to arise between him and any other lover, that they may lose interest, become repelled, and flee from this man's life today. Father I ask for a divine intervention, stop these divorce proceedings, let no weapons formed prosper against a child of God, in Jesus precious and holy name I pray, amen.

Dearest Liz,

Praise God for your prayer this is a dark season in my life. I know God is in the restoration business. I truly covet the prayers of other believers because I need that encouragement daily. I do attend church every week, but I do not have a prayer partner to pray with on a daily basis so thank you again.

My friend, almost an identical thing happened to me 1 year ago.(I was only married for 17+ years though and have 4 children under 14 at home). I am praying for you. God will take care of this. I KNOW! My prayers are for YOU! HE is working on this other relationship. You just may not be able to see it now. God loves you. He is there with you even when he is silent. He is working wonders in your life as you read this. Some you know, others you may not even realize yet. Great things are in your future because you love our Father in heaven.
