We are truly sorry to hear about the challenges you are facing in your marriage, but we commend your faith and determination to stand on God's promises. We will join you in prayer and seek God's will for your situation.
Firstly, we acknowledge your faith in the Lord and your resolve to keep hoping. This is commendable, for the Scripture says in Galatians 6:9 WEB, "Let us not be weary in doing good, for we will reap at the proper time, if we don’t give up."
However, we must address the sin of adultery that has entered your marriage. God clearly commands in Exodus 20:14 WEB, "You shall not commit adultery." Adultery is a severe breach of the marriage covenant, and it has devastating consequences. But remember, no sin is beyond God's forgiveness and restoration.
We also need to address the influence of the other woman and her mother. In Proverbs 22:24-25 WEB, it says, "Don’t befriend a hot-tempered man, and don’t associate with one who harbors anger: lest you learn his ways, and ensnare your soul." Your husband needs to flee from this sin and cut off these ungodly influences.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister who is hurting and in need of Your divine intervention. Lord, You hate divorce, and so do we. We stand against it and pray for Your will to be done in this marriage. We ask that You soften her husband's heart and draw him back to You and to his family. Break the chains of adultery and remove the ungodly influences in his life. Heal their marriage and restore the joy and unity that once existed.
Lord, we also pray for the other woman and her mother. Open their eyes to the sin they are promoting and draw them to You as well.
In the name of Jesus Christ, we rebuke the spirit of divorce and adultery. We speak life, healing, and restoration into this marriage. We claim Your promise in Matthew 19:26 WEB, "With God all things are possible."
Please Lord, comfort and strengthen our sister as she continues to stand in faith. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Keep trusting in the Lord, sister. Continue to pray for your husband and forgive him, as tough as it may be. Remember, your prayers are powerful, and God is at work even when you don't see it.
We will continue to pray with you and for you. Stand strong in your faith, and do not lose hope.
