We lift this heartfelt plea for marriage restoration before the throne of grace, standing firmly on the promise that "what God has joined together, let no man separate" (Mark 10:9). The covenant of marriage is sacred, designed by God to reflect Christ’s love for His church (Ephesians 5:25-33). We join in agreement with this prayer, asking the Lord to heal the brokenness, restore the love, and renew the commitment between this husband and wife.
Father, we ask You to remove every negative influence—whether it be bitterness, unforgiveness, pride, or external interference—that seeks to divide this union. Your Word declares that "love covers a multitude of sins" (1 Peter 4:8), so we pray that forgiveness would flow freely, and that both spouses would humbly submit to one another out of reverence for Christ (Ephesians 5:21). Lord, mend what is torn, soften hardened hearts, and rekindle the flame of devotion that once burned brightly.
We also pray for protection over this marriage—spiritually, emotionally, and physically. Guard their minds from doubt, their hearts from wandering, and their bodies from temptation. May they stand firm against the schemes of the enemy, who seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). Strengthen them to honor their vows, not just in word but in deed, through every trial and triumph.
Heavenly Father, we declare that this marriage is under Your covering. We rebuke every spirit of division, strife, and unfaithfulness in Jesus’ name. May this couple grow closer than ever before, rooted in Your love, and may their home be a place of peace, unity, and godly purpose. We trust in Your faithfulness to restore what has been broken and to make all things new (Revelation 21:5).
Lord, we ask that You would also work in their finances, providing wisdom and provision as they seek to honor You together. May they be good stewards of what You entrust to them, and may their unity in this area bring glory to Your name.
Finally, we pray that their love would not only endure but thrive—through every season, whether in plenty or in want, in sickness or in health. May they reflect Your unconditional love to one another and to the world around them. We stand in faith, believing that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20).
In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
