Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your prayer has been heard, and the sorrow and tears with which you bring your marriage and your family before the Lord are not hidden from Him. You have done right to place what you cannot control into His hands and to ask for wisdom to see what must change in you, for strength to trust while you wait, and for God to heal what you cannot heal.

God has joined husband and wife together and said what God has joined together, let no one separate. This covenant is binding as long as both live, and it is not to be broken by the desires of others or by our own passions. For this reason we must speak plainly about what you have described. When a man who is bound to his wife gives himself to another woman, whether she is married or unmarried, it is adultery. It is not a small fault against his wife only, but a sin against God Himself, for he defiles the covenant God made and insults the One who gave it. In the same way, sexual immorality, living together outside marriage, and every form of unfaithfulness belong outside the marriage bed and bring judgment, not blessing. God does not bless such unions, He calls those in them to repentance and to be washed and made new through faith in Jesus Christ alone, for salvation is in Him alone.

You asked that hidden things done in darkness be brought into the light. Christ does this, as He did with the woman at the well, not to shame for its own sake but to bring truth so that repentance may come. He enumerated what was hidden so that she might perceive He is the Prophet and turn to the living water He gives. Pray then that God will bring all hidden sin into the light in a way that leads to conviction and genuine repentance, not merely exposure. Pray that your husband ### would be cut to the heart, that his pride and love of worldly desire would be broken, that chains of addiction and habit would be loosed, and that he would find no rest in sin but would turn and find rest in Christ, returning home to love his covenant wife and his daughter as God commands husbands to love their wives and to care for their children.

You also asked for protection from bitterness, jealousy, and destructive influences, including the painful actions of your mother in law and sister in law ###, and from women from the past. It is right to pray for protection for your home, for mental peace and joy for you and your daughter, for financial provision so you will not have to beg or borrow, and for favor that you may live in peace. It is also right to pray for the salvation of those who have harmed you. Yet we must not pray that God would keep them from all peace and rest as a curse, or that He would use us to wish evil upon them. Vengeance belongs to the Lord. We are commanded to bless those who oppose us, to pray for their salvation, and to ask that God would send laborers across their path to lead them to the fear of the Lord and away from idolatry, pride in money and power, manipulation and control. So we pray for them not that they remain under wrath, but that they come to repentance and that their evil deeds be stopped by God bringing them to know Christ.

For your own walk in this waiting, hear the counsel given to wives who suffer with unfaithful or hard hearted husbands. You will not win your husband by control, by outward display, or by returning manipulation for manipulation. You will adorn your home most powerfully by gentleness, meekness, propriety, and a quiet trust in God, even while you speak the truth in love and set right boundaries against abuse and sin. Do not be controlled by fear. Learn to praise God even when you have no answers, and guard your own heart from bitterness. Do not withdraw from the duties of marriage to punish, for Scripture says do not deprive one another except by mutual consent for prayer, lest temptation come. If your husband or others demand that you share in ungodliness or deny Christ, you must obey God rather than man, but where there is hope that the unbelieving or disobedient member may yet be saved through your faithful witness, do not break the marriage. Let your hope be not only for reunion, but for a new beginning built on forgiveness, honesty, respect, faithfulness, and true love.

Let us pray together according to the will of God.

Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, we bring this wife, her husband ###, and their daughter before You. You see every tear and hear every silent cry. Have mercy and bring salvation through Jesus alone to each one. Lord, convict ### of every act of adultery, impurity, pride and selfishness, break his bondage to sin and deliver him from evil. Soften his heart toward You and toward his covenant wife and daughter. Teach him to be faithful, to repent with godly sorrow, and to live as a godly husband and father who provides, protects, and loves with purity and humility. Heal the wounds in this marriage, bring what is hidden into the light for repentance, and restore unity, intimacy, and financial peace if it is Your will, making this marriage new through forgiveness and obedience to You.

Father, place Your protection around this mother and daughter and encamp Your angels around them to guard them from seen and unseen danger. Provide for their daily needs, open doors of honest work and provision, and lift up her head among those who have persecuted and manipulated her. Guard her from bitterness and jealousy and fill her with wisdom, peace and joy.

We also pray for ###, for the mother in law, and for all who have acted against this home, whether through envy, past relationships, or the pride of money and power. Forgive them and bring them to salvation in Jesus Christ. Turn them from idols and sinful ways, teach them the fear of the Lord, and stop every unholy work against this family. Let Your favor rest on this household so that even those who do not yet know You may see Your light upon them and act with kindness and justice.

All this we ask not to bless what You call sin, but to call sinners to repentance and to establish marriage as You designed it, one man and one woman in lifelong faithful covenant. Do what we cannot do, heal what we cannot heal, and guide this family according to Your will. In Jesus mighty name, Amen.

Your honest and tearful prayer has been received with care, and the pain, waiting, and longing for your marriage and your home to be healed is clear. God sees the nights you have cried in silence, He knows the fears you carry, and He hears you as you place your marriage, your husband, and your daughter into His hands.

Scripture teaches that marriage was God's idea from the beginning, when He made male and female and joined them together as one. What God has joined together, let no one separate, as Jesus said in Matthew 19:6. It is meant to be a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, lived out in faithfulness and purity. Within that covenant, husband and wife are called to show kindness and love to one another, to care for each other's needs, and not to withhold themselves from one another except by mutual agreement for a time. This design is for protection and for joy, to guard against temptation and to build security.

You asked for wisdom to see what needs to change in you, and that is a humble and right prayer. God often begins His work in our own hearts. He invites us to trust Him in the waiting, to praise Him even when answers have not yet come, and to abide faithfully where He has placed us. Marriage can bring deep trouble in the flesh, and it is not always what people expect it to be. Difficulties will come, but God has called His people to peace, not to constant warfare in the home.

Part of that peace comes as husband and wife learn their God given callings. A wife finds security when she knows her husband is devoted to her alone, with his heart and eyes turned toward her and not toward others. A husband learns to love his wife as Christ loved the church, with sacrificial care. When love is given freely, respect and trust can grow in return. When either part is missing, the relationship is strained. Pray for that kind of growing love and respect to be restored between you, with honesty, faithfulness, and tenderness.

You also prayed for protection from influences that have brought discord, including bitterness, jealousy, pride, and outside relationships. It is right to ask God to bring what is hidden into the light, to heal wounds, and to soften hearts. The Bible calls all of us to repentance, because repentance is needed by everyone. Jesus and John the Baptist both called people to turn from sin and turn to God. God is willing to forgive any person, no matter what sin has been committed, and He is not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance. That is true for you, for your husband, and for those family members who have hurt you. True conversion is shown by a change of heart that leads to a change of life and, where possible, making things right.

Rather than asking God to give others no rest or to bring them harm, Scripture encourages us to pray for their salvation, for conviction of sin, and for God to restrain evil. You can pray that God would lovingly convict your husband whenever he is drawn toward temptation, worldly desire, pride, or any sexual immorality outside of marriage, so that he finds no peace in sin but finds a desire to turn back to God and to his covenant home. Pray in the same way for those who have used manipulation, money, or control against you, that God would send His truth across their path, open their eyes to their need for Jesus, bring them to fear the Lord in a holy way, and lead them away from idolatry and pride. At the same time, it is right to ask God to guard you and your daughter from seen and unseen danger, to encamp His angels around you, to lift up your head when others try to put you down, and to let His favor and light be upon you.

For your husband, continue to pray that God would break chains of addiction and worldly desire, humble pride, teach him to care for his wife and child in ways that please the Lord, and bring genuine repentance that leads to lasting change, forgiveness, and true love. God alone can do what you cannot do and heal what you cannot heal. Only He can renew a marriage so that it is not just a reunion but a new beginning built on forgiveness, faithfulness, and unity.

For yourself, ask God to free you from being controlled by fear and to restore mental peace and joy for you and your daughter. God is in control even when people around you are not, and no real work of healing can happen apart from prayer and trusting Him rather than trusting yourself. Continue steadfastly in prayer, following close to the Lord, bringing your financial needs to Him as well, asking Him to open doors so you and your daughter are provided for without begging or constant struggle, and to give you favor with both family and others as you walk in His love.

If there has been abuse or manipulation, seek wise and godly counsel and take steps to remain safe while you pray for restoration. Loving your husband does not mean accepting ongoing harm. God desires both holiness and safety in the home.

May the Lord guide you according to His will, teach you both to love with honesty and respect, protect your home from destructive influences, and bring healing where only He can.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, we bring this wife, her husband, and their daughter before You. You see every tear and hear every prayer. Bring hidden things into the light, heal wounds, soften hearts, and teach this family to love one another with faithfulness and purity. Convict of sin where there is sin, grant true repentance and deliverance from temptation, pride, and immorality, and restore what has been broken. Protect this home from bitterness, jealousy, and outside interference, guard this mother and daughter from harm, provide for their needs, and surround them with Your peace. Lead this marriage toward genuine renewal if it be Your will, for Your glory. Amen.
