Marriage Reconciliation

My wife filed for divorce in January. There have been many issues in her past, that were carried into the marriage, and I contributed to many of the downfalls. God has lifted the scales off of my eyes, and I pray for a second chance to be a better husband, and that she can give up fully the hurt and pain of her past and forgive me. I know God can, and will fix this, through steadfast prayer. I hope communication opens up for us soon.

Remember God is in control. Trust in Him. Trusting in God is also trusting in God’s Timing, God’s Will, and God’s plan.

May God encourage you, meet every need, and fulfill all His plans for You and all those you love and care about. May Jesus shine on you ever so brightly that it feels like his arms are around you in person.

Wow. Thank you for the prayers. I didn't expect for people to answer. If I can elaborate, I don't want to put blame on my wife, but the issues that carried into the marriage included behaviors that were emotionally and physically abusive. A family and few friends who have been incredibly controlling and forced certain situations to happen. I don't want to expose my wife, but I do need prayers to stop these behaviors so that we can be healthy and productive. I know God made no mistake in putting us together, and I wish the lies and the despair they put on her, in all accepts of her life would stop. God Bless for all the prayers.
