Marriage Prayer

I need intense prayer for my husband. My prayer is The Lord Jesus will bring him to his knees. I have been praying intensely for God to make himself real to him. I love him and want to restore our marriage and make it into something beautiful.

Father God, I ask you to equip this might woman of God with the gift of continual prayer as she intercedes for her husband. Send holy women to gird her as she stands. For the husband we pray for the gift of repentance as described in 2 Timothy 2:25-26 that this man would come to acknowledge the truth and this truth will set him free to repent-turn from his lifestyle; bow down and worship you for the remainder of his life. Father God, you designed the institution of marriage and ordained the covenant as sacred as you bear witness of the vows spoken before you. You alone judge the hearts of your children and know our futures. Know this couple today and prepare a path that leads them both to you that they can become the mighty men and women you have called them to be. Let them learn to be good to you as Lord that you can mature them in the things concerning that their desires, wills, and walk will line up with your desires, will, and walk. During this maturation process, hold their marriage in your hands and let not any fleshly lust enter in to destroy what is already damaged. You are the Lord and God of all and nothing happens to us without your permission-grant them permission to heal and reconcile in the name of Jesus, amen.
