Dear Lord,
Your word tells us that “Whoever works his land will have plenty of bread, but he who follows worthless pursuits will have plenty of poverty.” Lord, we pray that we would heed what Your word says and tend to the field that You gave us, and take good care of our spouse and children. We pray that we would not follow worthless pursuits. Keep the poverty of a broken family far from our home and instead bring to our marriage and family a harvest of love and joy.
