Marriage Prayer: Understanding My Spouse

Dear Lord,

You have called us to honor each other in marriage. We have failed at this so many times and need your help, Father, to become the husband and wife that You have asked us to be. Lord, forgive us for any harshness or lack of understanding with each other. Help us to love one another with knowledge. Help us to know when to just listen. Help us to know when it is needed to give advice. Help us to recognize when the other just wants to be held. Lord, help us to love well.
