Dear Lord,
You say in Your word that wives must respect and submit to their husbands as they submit to Christ, and that husbands must love their wives as Christ loves the Church. We pray that as husbands and wives, we would not cause our spouse to stumble in this command. We pray that we would cultivate an environment of love, safety, security, purity and encouragement, so that each of us has an easier time following their role as husband or wife.
