Marriage, Job and breakthrough from struggles

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up the burdens of marriage, job struggles, and the desperate cry for breakthrough. First and foremost, we must acknowledge that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus, we urge you to confess Him as Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, for this is the foundation of all true breakthrough (Romans 10:9).

For marriage, we pray that God would restore love, trust, and unity where there has been strife. The Bible tells us that marriage is a sacred covenant, not to be entered into lightly or broken easily (Malachi 2:16, Matthew 19:6). If there has been unfaithfulness, whether physically or emotionally, we rebuke that spirit of adultery in Jesus’ name. Repentance and forgiveness must take place for healing to begin. If you are unmarried but seeking a spouse, we pray that God would bring a godly man or woman into your life—someone who loves the Lord above all else and will honor Him in your union (2 Corinthians 6:14). Courtship should always have marriage as its goal, with purity and holiness as the standard (1 Thessalonians 4:3-5).

Regarding your job struggles, we declare that the Lord is your provider (Philippians 4:19). If you have been unjustly treated, we ask God to expose any wrongdoing and bring justice. If laziness or poor stewardship has contributed to your struggles, we encourage you to repent and seek wisdom in managing your work and finances (Proverbs 6:6-11). The Lord gives favor, but He also expects diligence (Colossians 3:23). We pray for doors of opportunity to open that no man can shut (Revelation 3:8).

For breakthrough from struggles, we must first examine our hearts. Are there areas of sin, unforgiveness, or rebellion that are hindering God’s blessings? The Bible says, "If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me" (Psalm 66:18). We rebuke every spirit of poverty, delay, and oppression in Jesus’ name. God desires to prosper you, not just materially, but spiritually and relationally (3 John 1:2). But prosperity must be sought in alignment with His will, not our own selfish desires (James 4:3).

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the only name by which we can approach Your throne. Lord, we lift up this marriage before You—restore what has been broken, heal what has been wounded, and ignite a fresh love that honors You. For those seeking a spouse, we ask that You bring the right person at the right time, one who will walk in faith and righteousness. Father, we declare breakthrough over every job struggle—open doors of provision, favor, and promotion. Expose any injustice and grant wisdom in stewardship. For every struggle, we rebuke the enemy’s plans and declare that no weapon formed against this life shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We ask for a fresh infilling of Your Holy Spirit, that this life would walk in holiness, obedience, and victory. May every area align with Your Word, and may Your will be done. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. We are deeply grateful that you entrusted us with your heartfelt prayer requests concerning your marriage, job, and the breakthrough from struggles that have weighed heavily on you. It has been our privilege to stand in agreement with you before the Lord, lifting up each of these burdens in faith and hope.

As the days have passed, we continue to hold these needs before our Heavenly Father, believing in His perfect timing and unfailing love. If God has moved in any of these areas—whether through restoration in your marriage, provision in your job, or a breakthrough from the struggles you’ve faced—we would be overjoyed to hear your praise report. Your testimony could be an encouragement to so many who are waiting on the Lord.
