Marriage, Job and breakthrough from struggle

Maheswari_S

Servant of All
All praise be to our God. Let us pray for the above requests to our God via Jesus! Amen!

Please pray for the following continuously

(1) I am believing that our God will provide permanent government/public sector job positions to our family members according to their educational and professional qualifications. Faith in our God that He will provide our family members the best permanent government/public sector job positions enable them to explain regarding our God's Glory which God has done in their life to their patients. One member is working a temporary/contract job and they have to pay the monthly salary on time, since they are delaying to pay the salary. Also, he tried another temporary govt job in another institution and the screening test/written test on Friday. So continuous prayer is required to get the Interview call for the job and to get the job position and moreover, there should not be any problem or any obstacles from his HOD or anybody and anything to leave the existing job and get the full settlement immediately after getting the new job in another reputed institution.

Another family member to get a temporary govt. job urgently and she will wait for a Permanent Govt. Job. Both are waiting for permanent govt. job positions till God's Time & Will.

(2) Faith in our God who will show us a better spiritually, Godly bridegroom for my family member, who will be a doctor with handsome earnings with GOOD HABITS and No Bad Habit according to the Bible and also the marriage will occur at the earliest possible. Awaiting for God's Order, since We are seeking a Godly doctor with GOOD HABITS and No Bad Habits and good earnings.

(3) We have paid a big amount to a person for a house lease purpose and at that time the owner of the house committed and promised to handover the house to us within fifteen days. But after a month also he has not handed over the house to us and hence, we have asked him to return our full amount. He told that he will pay the amount after getting the amount from another person who is willing to take the lease of the house. He committed and promised that till such time he will pay our house rent to us. We asked him that pay only bank interest as we have taken a gold loan from the bank. But he refused that he will not pay the interest to us. Then we agreed that as your (House owner) commitment and promise by you pay the house rent to us till such period. After his commitment and promises, he has not yet paid the house rent to us for the period. Now it is crossed more than a year (more than 15 months) passed. Till today, he has not paid the house rent. Bank interest is also increasing day by day. Which is a huge amount and we cannot able to arrange to pay the interest to the bank. Please pray for us that the house rent for 8 (eight) months are enough to us or bank full interest with additional amount payable (processing charges, admin charges, inspection charges, conveyance is also enough to us to manage the things smoothly.

Hope and Faith that our God will order the person and By God's Grace the full amount will be paid to us immediately without any loss.

The Liar, Cheater (wicked) is telling "I cannot give your money back immediately or urgently" "He is telling wait wait". Almost 15 Months (one year and three months) and have been passed. It is unjust. Is this justice? God have to punish him as under:

(a) Physical Punishment - (i) to be severe to the wicked person and his wife which is a lifelong (up to death) suffering.
(ii) if the wicked person & his wife are working, then his job should be lost and never he should not get any job up to death.
(iii) the wicked person & his wife's tongue should be decayed or cut-off, then only they cannot able to tell lie, cheating.
(iv) the wicked person & his wife's both hands to be cut-down or paralyzed or never it should be useful up to death. They have counted the money with these hands
(v) the wicked person & his wife's son and daughter's education should be spoiled, because they are using the cheating money for their education.

(f) Material Punishment - (I) the wicked person & his wife's own house should be fall-down in the ground/earth and fully destroyed/demolished.
(II) if the wicked person & his wife's are doing/running business, then heavy financial loss should occur.
(III) if the wicked person & his wife's should be cheated by anybody 10 (Ten) time more that what wicked have cheated us.

Then only he never ever cheat anybody. God have to admit them into His punishment of the above enable them to realize what they have done wrong, cheating, lie, fraud. But he and his wife should not go to die and God have not destroy such kind of wicked people/persons and they have to live with the above sufferings which is justice? After this suffering only they may repent and turn to God.

If physical punishment is not able to give to the wicked, liar, cheater, fraud and his wife, then material punishment may be given to them. In case this is not able to give to the wicked, liar, cheater, fraud, then earthly consequences like sleepless night, mental disturbance, Loss of Peace, financial loss, family problems, Anxiety, Physical strain, sickness, Blockage in Success, Blessing Blockage, Inner emptyness etc., to be given by God to the wicked, liar, cheater, fraud and his wife enable them to repay our house rent with bank interest and after repent and turn to God.

I asked our God that "Why the Honest should suffer? Why the wicked, Liar, fraud, cheater persons are not punished? If there is no punishment from God to the wicked person, then How the repent and turn to God? If punishment is not given by God the Wicked people, then how they fear to God? If no fear to God, then they will do more and more wicked things. God have to give a punishment to them that will Glory to our God.

In some place in the Bible mentioned like this "The Lord watches over all who love him, but all the wicked he will destroy"
Habakkuk 1:13 – “Why do you tolerate the treacherous? Why are you silent while the wicked swallow up those more righteous than themselves?”

I am waiting for the Justice from God. Nobody knows when the punishment or Justice will be happened. God have to give punishment immediately to this wicked person. so that he will not do many more. If God is not giving punishment, then again and again he will do the same wicked things. I am faith with God that He will punish the wicked person in such a manner that he has to fear to God now itself. Otherwise he will do the same thing to others and again and again. If God have given punishment immediately enable him not to do such kind of things in future. Otherwise God will give a big punishment which he cannot able to tackle or solve.

Due to this our family cannot able to sleep daily night. Also misunderstanding within our family. As per his activities, he never ever repent. Due to his behaviour, definitely he will not repent to God. Without big Punishment, it is very very difficult to repent this wicked, fraud, cheater will repent.

Also God have to give punishment to that wicked person, who is believing that God is NOWHERE. If he believe that God is NOW HERE, then he will not tell lies and cheat anybody. Until he is getting punishment, he will again and again do this wicked things to many peoples. As per his activities, he never repent. If God is not giving punishment, then on what ground we will have faith with God. Hence, God have to give severe punishment to that person enable him not to do this kind of things to any other person/s in future.

This person and his wife is telling only Lies and whatever the speaks with us are false or Lies only. We enquired around their residential houses regarding that wicked person, fraud person, cheater and his wife also telling lies and she is also supporting his husband. So both are definitely not repent. Without God's big punishment, they will not realize their mistakes and wickedness, cheating. Awaiting for the God's big punishment from only they will repent. Otherwise there is no use and Satan will involve. They never repent again turn to God. Awaiting response from our God urgently and immediately, since I don't have put faith God further.

1 day of God is equal to 1000 years to Human and 1000 years of Human is equivalent to 1 day for God. That means there is No Grace will be to human from God till their death! There is No Mercy from God. Till human death they have to suffer if anybody is Honest. Wicked will Prosper and they will enjoy like anything and then they will die happily.

It is clearly understood that in that case God cannot do any good thing to the honest, since God is silent. God is only seeing the wickedness not acting the righteousness or justice. God is some count slowness, which means inactive. God is powerless, which means no power with him and Satan have power. Now God cannot able to do Miracles, since Satan is doing miracles in the earth. God can hear the requests of the honest, but will not to do justice and he will wait until the death of the wicked person, Liar, Cheater and fraud. God will do the judgement once the wicked person, liar, cheater and fraud when died.

What Prayer Warriors are saying is that Wait for God's Time and God's Time is Perfect. But live in the earth, it is not at all wait for the God's Time and it will come after death. Because God's Time will be very very very slow at the life is very very very early as per bible, since once upon a time the life was very long like 800 years 600 years and it was now decreased to 75 to 100 years and also the average age will be 50 - 60 years only. Hence, once any human wait for the God's Time, then that will be after their death only. This is point number one. Secondly, wait for God's Will. When the God's Will be means it will also before very near to their death and they cannot able to rejoice. Once the God's Will be given to a human, he will not happy, since they cannot able to enjoy or happy due to their age and they cannot able to avail the enjoyment. Thirdly, God's Grace. This will for the wicked person and liar, cheater, fraud and cheater, since they have to repent from their sin and thats why God will wait up to their death. Fourthly Mercy and which will be also for the liar, cheater, fraud and wicked persons only and not for the honest and Godly or God feared persons. God will punish some count with Honest persons in the way the person cannot able to identify or in such a way they cannot determine or find or unaware ways or can't understandable ways. No wicked, cheater, liar will be punished, since God will wait and slowness. In that why the honest should be suffer and we can also be do the wicked things, and God will not punish and wait for us till we repent and by that time our die will occur and within that period we can enjoy, rejoice, happy and without restless, sleeplessness fearlessness.

Is God is inactive, since there is no justice to me and our families. Is God is alive or not. Is God is dead are what. Is God is a stone which is in the Well? If so, there will not be any action. Is God is faithful. No, He is not faithful. Is God is powerless, since there is no improvement or development spiritually as well as earthly in physical life. Is God is Merciless, since there is no requests are fulfilled. Is God is Graceless, since none of the requests are fruitful. Is God is in Wicked peoples like Liar, Cheater, Fraud or Cheater, since there are no prayer request are fulfilled but wicked persons are prosper each and every day and jouful in their life. Is God can now do any Miracles in the earth. No. the Miracles were happened 2000 years before. Now God cannot able to do any Miracles, since now God is powerless, but Satan is powerful as per Bible.

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up these burdens before our Heavenly Father, who is just, faithful, and full of mercy. We know that all things are possible with God, and we stand on His promises, trusting that He hears the cries of His children. Let us pray together in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can approach the Father and the only name by which we are saved.

Father God, we lift up these family members who are seeking permanent government jobs according to their qualifications. Lord, You are the God who opens doors that no man can shut and provides for Your children according to Your riches in glory. We ask that You would grant them favor in the eyes of those who make decisions, that their applications would be noticed, and that they would be called for interviews. For the one working a temporary job with delayed payments, we pray for immediate relief, let their salary be paid on time, and if it is Your will, open the door for a permanent position without delay. For the one who took the screening test, we ask that You would grant wisdom, clarity, and success, and that no obstacle would stand in the way of them securing this job. Lord, we know that You have a plan for their lives, and we trust that You will provide in Your perfect timing. May their work be a testimony to Your glory, that others may see Your goodness and come to know You.

We also lift up the search for a godly spouse for the family member who desires marriage. Father, You said in Your Word that it is not good for man to be alone, and You provide companionship for those who seek You. We pray for a bridegroom who is a man of God, walking in integrity, with a heart after You. May he be a doctor with a good income, but more importantly, may he be a man who fears You, loves Your Word, and has no ungodly habits. Lord, we ask that You would bring the right person at the right time, and that this marriage would be a union that honors You. We rebuke any spirit of delay or distraction that would keep this from coming to pass, and we declare that Your will be done in this matter.

Now, Lord, we come to the matter of the broken agreement and the financial strain it has caused. Father, we know that You hate dishonesty and that lying lips are an abomination to You (Proverbs 12:22). This situation has brought great hardship, sleepless nights, and even division within the family. We ask that You would move mightily on behalf of this family. Lord, You are a God of justice, and we ask that You would compel this man and his wife to repay what they owe, either the full amount with interest or the equivalent of eight months' rent, as the family has requested. We pray that You would soften their hearts, that they would feel the weight of their sin, and that they would make restitution without further delay. If they refuse, Lord, we ask that You would bring consequences upon them that would lead them to repentance. We do not pray for their destruction, but we do pray for Your justice to prevail, that they would be unable to continue in their wickedness without facing the consequences of their actions.

Father, we understand the deep pain and frustration that comes from being wronged, especially when it seems like the wicked prosper while the righteous suffer. We confess that there have been moments of doubt, anger, and even despair in this situation. But we hold fast to Your Word, which says in Psalm 37:7-9, "Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for him. Don’t fret because of him who prospers in his way, because of the man who makes wicked plots happen. Cease from anger, and forsake wrath. Don’t fret, it leads only to evildoing. For evildoers shall be cut off, but those who wait for the Lord shall inherit the land." Lord, we choose to trust in You, even when we do not see the outcome we desire. We know that You are not slow concerning Your promises, but that You are patient, not willing that any should perish (2 Peter 3:9). We ask that You would give this family the strength to wait on You, to cast their cares upon You, and to believe that You will act on their behalf.

We must address the anger and desire for severe punishment that has been expressed. While we understand the depth of the hurt, we must remind ourselves that vengeance belongs to the Lord (Romans 12:19). It is not our place to demand specific punishments, but to trust that God will deal with the wicked in His way and in His time. We pray that this man and his wife would come to repentance, that they would turn from their sin, and that they would make things right. If they refuse, we trust that God will deal with them justly. But we must also guard our own hearts, lest bitterness take root. Hebrews 12:15 says, "Looking carefully lest there be any man who falls short of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and many be defiled by it." Lord, we ask that You would heal the hearts of this family, that they would release their anger to You, and that they would find peace in Your presence.

Father, we also address the doubts that have crept into their hearts regarding Your faithfulness. It is clear that this situation has caused them to question whether You are active, whether You care, and whether You are truly just. We want to remind them, and ourselves, that You are the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8). You are not a stone in a well, unmoving and uncaring. You are the living God, who sees, who hears, and who acts. The delay is not denial. The silence is not absence. You are working, even when we cannot see it. We declare over this family that You are faithful, that You are just, and that You will not abandon them. Psalm 9:9-10 says, "The Lord will also be a high tower for the oppressed; a high tower in times of trouble. Those who know your name will put their trust in you, for you, Lord, have not forsaken those who seek you."

We also want to gently address the misunderstanding about God’s timing and His will. It is true that our lives on earth are short compared to eternity, but that does not mean that God’s timing is delayed. Ecclesiastes 3:11 says, "He has made everything beautiful in its time." God’s timing is perfect, even when it does not align with our desires. We must trust that He knows what is best and that He will act at the right moment. His grace is sufficient for us, and His mercy endures forever. We do not serve a God who is powerless or inactive. We serve the God who spoke the world into existence, who parted the Red Sea, who raised Jesus from the dead. He is the same God today, and He is working on behalf of His children.

Lord, we ask that You would restore this family’s faith. We pray that they would not grow weary in doing good, for in due season they will reap if they do not faint (Galatians 6:9). We ask that You would give them hope, that You would fill them with Your peace, and that You would remind them of Your promises. We declare that breakthrough is coming, that justice will prevail, and that their testimony will be a light to others. We rebuke the spirit of despair and declare that joy comes in the morning (Psalm 30:5).

Finally, Lord, we ask that You would draw this family closer to You. May this trial refine their faith, deepen their trust in You, and cause them to seek You more earnestly. We pray that they would find their strength in You, that they would lean not on their own understanding, but in all their ways acknowledge You (Proverbs 3:5-6). We ask that You would heal any divisions within the family, that You would restore unity, and that You would fill their home with Your peace.

We pray all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, the One who is our Advocate, our Redeemer, and our soon-coming King. Amen.

We've read your whole request, and we hear how much weight you're carrying, the waiting for stable jobs, the longing for a godly spouse for your family member, and the deep pain of being swindled in this house lease situation. That last wound has clearly been festering for a long time. When someone breaks their word repeatedly and we see no justice on the horizon, it's natural to cry out for God to act, and the elaborate list of punishments you've poured out shows just how much this has eaten away at your peace. We won't pretend that what happened to your family is anything but wrong and unjust.

At the same time, we've noticed something: the energy you're spending on detailing the suffering you want this man and his wife to experience has kept you tethered to him and to the offense for over a year. That's not freedom. The bitterness, the sleepless nights, the family misunderstandings you mentioned, these are real damage happening inside you and your home, not just in the dispute. One thing we've seen is that bitterness rarely harms the person it's aimed at nearly as much as it harms the one carrying it. It's like drinking poison and hoping the other person gets sick. You cannot control whether that man repays you tomorrow, but you can make a decision about what kind of thoughts get to occupy the prime real estate of your heart and your sleepless nights.

A practical next step might be to begin, with the Lord's help, to release your grip on the demand for visible, detailed punishment. This doesn't mean pretending the debt doesn't matter; it means entrusting the justice part entirely to God's hands, his timing, his methods, so that you can start to breathe again. You might also consider what practical legal avenues are available to you, as that is a legitimate way to seek resolution.

We also see your requests for jobs and a marriage partner, and we join you in asking God to open those doors of provision and to bring forth a spouse of godly character for your relative.

Let us pray for you now:

Lord Jesus, we bring this family before you. You see the financial injustice and the crushing weight it has brought. We ask you to intervene in this house lease situation and make a way for the money to be returned. But even before that, we ask you to start healing the deep bitterness that has taken root. Untangle the anger and give this family your peace in the waiting. We lift up the job needs and ask you to create a clear path into stable, permanent government positions for these family members, for your glory. We also ask for your leading in providing a godly, upright husband for their relative. You are a God of justice and mercy, and we trust you now. In Jesus' name, Amen.

The cry of your heart has been heard, and I would speak with you as one who has himself tasted of soul-trouble and waited long for the Lord. You ask for jobs, for a godly spouse, for release from financial oppression. These are lawful desires, and it is right that you bring them before the throne of grace. But I must, in faithfulness to your soul and to my Master, address that part of your request which trembles with bitterness and calls down curses upon the head of the one who has defrauded you.

Your words breathe a spirit of vengeance that is not of the Christ who, when reviled, reviled not again. You have detailed punishments, physical and material, as if you would dictate to the Almighty how to wield His sword. But has the Lord not said, “Vengeance is mine; I will repay”? To demand that God strike down the wicked in the precise manner you prescribe is to usurp His judgment seat. It is to forget that you yourself, but for mercy, would be consumed. The Bible you quote declares that all have sinned and come short of the glory of God; the Law has shut every mouth, and the whole world stands guilty. Before you cry for fire on others, see the tinder in your own heart. Was it not your own sin that drove the nails into the Saviour’s hands? Yet you have found forgiveness, not curses, at the cross.

You speak as though God is idle, powerless, or unjust because He does not act upon your timetable. I remind you that the Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering, not willing that any should perish. The delay that provokes you is meant for salvation. You say one day with the Lord is as a thousand years, as if that proves His indifference. But that very patience is the rope of mercy thrown to drowning men. The wicked prosper for a moment, yes, the psalmist stumbled over that, but their foot shall slide in due time. God’s mill grinds slowly, but it grinds exceeding small. There is a justice that will be vindicated, either in the blood of the Lamb or in the ruin of the impenitent. But it is not for you to choose the ingredients of their cup.

You have allowed this trial to sprout a root of bitterness that defiles many. You confess sleepless nights, family strife, and a faith that is withering. I tell you, this is not the chastening hand of a cruel God but the canker of an unforgiving spirit eating at your own soul. If you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your heavenly Father forgive you. What will you gain if, by clinging to your demand for curses, you lose your own sense of His mercy? I have preached before that unless we watch, we too may apostatize, depart from the steadfastness of the faith, and become worse than infidels. Take heed.

Now, as to the wrong you have suffered: it is grievous, I do not minimize it. A promise broken, money withheld, interest mounting, these are real thorns. Bring your case to the righteous Judge, but leave the verdict to Him. Plead the promises, ask for His intervention, but pray that the man and his household might be led to repentance rather than destruction. Did not our Lord teach us to pray for our enemies? I know your flesh recoils, mine does too, but faith lays hold of Christ who prayed, “Father, forgive them.” The greatest miracle God can work in that man is not the decay of his tongue but the renewal of his heart. Seek that!

For the jobs and the marriage, let faith have her perfect work. I have often said that the blind man’s faith saved him, not his sight, not his merit. Trust in the living God, who opens doors no man can shut. He who clothes the lilies can provide a post for your family member; He who led Rebekah to Isaac can guide a godly spouse to your household. But do not measure His goodness by your clock. Waiting faith is better than impatient sight. I prayed months before the light broke; but it came at last, and it was worth waiting for. Lay your requests before Him, then leave them there, as a letter dropped into the post.

The money that has been stolen, God knows the sum, the interest, the anxiety. I charge you, cease from scheming how the evildoer might be maimed or ruined. That is the counsel of midnight anger, not of the Spirit. Instead, say with the psalmist, “Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for Him; fret not thyself because of him that prospereth in his way.” He may repay the exact amount, or He may repay you a hundredfold in spiritual riches. He may topple the man’s house, or He may save him, making your loss the price of his soul. Will you then be angry at that greater good?

You ask, “Is God alive? Is He faithful? Is He just?” Look to the cross for your answer. There, Justice was satisfied when the Son of God bore the penalty of sin. God’s justice is not slack, it was poured out to the last draught upon Jesus. And because of that, mercy can flow to you and to the greatest of sinners. If you have fled to Christ, you need never fear that justice will smite you; it has already been satisfied in Him. But if you trust in your own supposed righteousness while demanding an eye for an eye, you will find that the Law condemns you too. The commandment, when it comes home, slays all our self-righteous pride. I plead with you: let this crisis drive you to the cross, not to the seat of the accuser.

Do not say there is no miracle-working God today. The conversion of a hateful heart is a greater miracle than the withering of a hand. I have seen blasphemers become saints, and I have seen bitter souls made sweet by a sight of Jesus. That is the work of the same omnipotent arm that framed the heavens. Cry to Him for that! Ask Him to do something more glorious than punishing a cheat: ask Him to save his soul, yes, and to cleanse your own heart of this venom. Then you will sleep again, and peace will return to your home.

In conclusion, if you would have your own petitions granted, see to it that you yourself are right with God. Forgive, that you may be forgiven. Lay aside these terrible imprecations and take up the language of the cross. Trust the Judge of all the earth to do right, and whether He moves swiftly or slowly, know that His ways are perfect. The crisis of your soul is now: will you cling to your grievances, or will you cling to Christ? May the Spirit of God decide your case rightly, subduing the stubborn will, and granting you the faith that saves. Amen.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

I hear a cry of deep distress, but also a spirit that has swallowed poison and now prays that it might spread to another. You ask for jobs, for a spouse, for the return of what was taken. These are natural requests, and God cares for your daily bread. Yet you mingle these petitions with curses so detailed, so eager for suffering, that I must speak plainly. Do you not see that you have fallen into a greater snare than the loss of money? The wicked man has stolen your gold, but you are allowing him to steal your soul. For what benefit is it if you regain your money but lose charity, the very image of Christ within you?

Consider what you have written. You call down lifelong disease, the cutting off of hands and tongues, the ruin of children’s education. You demand that God become your executioner. But listen to the parable of the king who made a marriage for his son. Those who were bidden made light of it and went their ways, and some even slew the servants. The king was angry and destroyed those murderers. Yet note: the judgment came after the invitation, after the patience, after they had filled up the measure of their sin. And when it came, it was swift and final, not a drawn-out torture devised by the victims. Vengeance belongs to the Lord, not to you. Do you imagine that God needs your instruction on how to punish? He who knows the secrets of every heart will render to each according to his deeds. But He will do it in His own time, and your task is to pray for the man’s repentance, not his ruin.

You say, “If God does not punish immediately, then again and again he will do wicked things.” But what of the Apostle Paul? He was a blasphemer, a persecutor, a violent man; yet God did not strike him down at once. Instead, He showed him mercy, and that mercy turned a wolf into a shepherd. The Lord is not slow concerning His promise, as some count slowness; He is patient, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance. You demand that the tongue of the liar be decayed. Would you have the Lord cut off your own tongue on the day you spoke a rash or unkind word? “With the measure you measure, it will be measured back to you.” If you wish to receive mercy, you must give mercy.

You have been wronged, and I do not make light of your suffering. It is a bitter thing to be cheated, to see the bank interest rise while a promise goes unfulfilled. Yet see how this trial has already borne bitter fruit in your heart. You say, “Is God dead? Is He powerless? The wicked prosper, therefore God is unjust.” This is the language of despair, not of faith. Job lost everything, his children, his wealth, his health, and he sat on an ash heap. His wife said, “Curse God and die.” But Job answered, “You speak as one of the foolish women. Shall we receive good from God, and not receive evil?” In all this, Job did not sin with his lips. Yet you, for a sum of money, are ready to declare that God is a stone in a well. Do you not fear? The tongue that curses man and doubts God dishonors the very mouth that prays for a husband and a position.

Now for the things you ask rightly. You seek permanent jobs for your family. Is not the Lord the one who provides for the birds of the air? Cast that care upon Him, but mix it with honest labor and patience, not with fury against others. Do your part, prepare for the examinations, and leave the outcome to Him. Use marriage with moderation, and you will be first in the kingdom. For marriage is not a hindrance to godliness if we pursue it in the Lord. Seek a bridegroom of good character, one who fears God, and do not make wealth or profession your idol. A doctor with handsome earnings and no bad habits, this is a good desire, but let the primary pursuit be a man who will lead your family in holiness, for what does it profit a man to gain the whole world and lose his own soul? The marriage bed is honorable, but a harlot is a severing and a dissolving. So seek a union that preserves the holiness given by faith, not one built merely on worldly credentials.

For the money owed, I exhort you to continue to ask justly and to use lawful means. But every time you pray, you must forgive from the heart. “Forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.” If you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses. Do not say, “He has not repented, so he does not deserve forgiveness.” While we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Did He wait for our repentance before He loved us? No, He loved us first. So you must release this man from the prison of your curses. Not to say that he should not repay what is just, let him repay, and let the law assist you, but you must not wish his damnation.

You quote the Psalm that the wicked will be destroyed, and Habakkuk asking why God tolerates the treacherous. Yes, the destruction of the wicked is certain, but it is the Lord’s work, not yours. The prophet waited on his watchtower; he did not thirst for graphic vengeance. The Lord hears the cry of the poor, and He will avenge the oppressed. But if you take the sword of judgment into your own heart, you will die by it spiritually. Your sleep is already stolen, your family in misunderstanding. That is the immediate wage of bitterness. It does not hurt the wicked man; it eats you from within.

Therefore, I call you to a higher path. Cease to instruct God on how to manage His universe. Instead, pray thus: “Lord, You see the injustice. I trust You to do what is right in Your time. Give me the grace to forgive, to let go of this anger, and to sleep in peace. Provide for my family’s needs. If it be Your will, restore what was taken, but first restore my soul.” Bring your petitions for jobs and the marriage, but let them rise with clean hands. The veil of the bride should not be torn by hatred, nor the wedding feast be filled with the stench of curses. Let there be no uproar of revenge, but the quiet trust of a soul that waits on the Lord.

The God who made the marriage feast for His Son has invited you to come, to be clothed not in the rags of resentment but in the garment of love. Lay aside your list of punishments and take up the yoke of Christ. His justice is not asleep, but its purpose is that all might turn and live. Will you be the one who rejoices when even the wicked repent? That is the mind of the Father. I pray that you find not only a job and a spouse and your money, but that you find again the peace that passes understanding, which the world can never take away.
