Marriage, Job and breakthrough from struggle

Maheswari_S

Servant of All
All praise be to our God. Let us pray for the above requests to our God via Jesus! Amen!

Please pray for the following continuously

(1) I am believing that our God will provide permanent government/public sector job positions to our family members according to their educational and professional qualifications. Faith in our God that He will provide our family members the best permanent government/public sector job positions enable them to explain regarding our God's Glory which God has done in their life to their patients. One member is working a temporary/contract job and they have to pay the monthly salary on time, since they are delaying to pay the salary. Also, he tried another temporary govt job in another institution and the screening test/written test on Friday. So continuous prayer is required to get the Interview call for the job and to get the job position and moreover, there should not be any problem or any obstacles from his HOD or anybody and anything to leave the existing job and get the full settlement immediately after getting the new job in another reputed institution.

Another family member to get a temporary govt. job urgently and she will wait for a Permanent Govt. Job. Both are waiting for permanent govt. job positions till God's Time & Will.

(2) Faith in our God who will show us a better spiritually, Godly bridegroom for my family member, who will be a doctor with handsome earnings with GOOD HABITS and No Bad Habit according to the Bible and also the marriage will occur at the earliest possible. Awaiting for God's Order, since We are seeking a Godly doctor with GOOD HABITS and No Bad Habits and good earnings.

(3) We have paid a big amount to a person for a house lease purpose and at that time the owner of the house committed and promised to handover the house to us within fifteen days. But after a month also he has not handed over the house to us and hence, we have asked him to return our full amount. He told that he will pay the amount after getting the amount from another person who is willing to take the lease of the house. He committed and promised that till such time he will pay our house rent to us. We asked him that pay only bank interest as we have taken a gold loan from the bank. But he refused that he will not pay the interest to us. Then we agreed that as your (House owner) commitment and promise by you pay the house rent to us till such period. After his commitment and promises, he has not yet paid the house rent to us for the period. Now it is crossed more than a year (more than 15 months) passed. Till today, he has not paid the house rent. Bank interest is also increasing day by day. Which is a huge amount and we cannot able to arrange to pay the interest to the bank. Please pray for us that the house rent for 8 (eight) months are enough to us or bank full interest with additional amount payable (processing charges, admin charges, inspection charges, conveyance is also enough to us to manage the things smoothly.

Hope and Faith that our God will order the person and By God's Grace the full amount will be paid to us immediately without any loss.

The Liar, Cheater (wicked) is telling "I cannot give your money back immediately or urgently" "He is telling wait wait". Almost 15 Months (one year and three months) and have been passed. It is unjust. Is this justice? God have to punish him as under:

(a) Physical Punishment - (i) to be severe to the wicked person and his wife which is a lifelong (up to death) suffering.
(ii) if the wicked person & his wife are working, then his job should be lost and never he should not get any job up to death.
(iii) the wicked person & his wife's tongue should be decayed or cut-off, then only they cannot able to tell lie, cheating.
(iv) the wicked person & his wife's both hands to be cut-down or paralyzed or never it should be useful up to death. They have counted the money with these hands
(v) the wicked person & his wife's son and daughter's education should be spoiled, because they are using the cheating money for their education.

(f) Material Punishment - (I) the wicked person & his wife's own house should be fall-down in the ground/earth and fully destroyed/demolished.
(II) if the wicked person & his wife's are doing/running business, then heavy financial loss should occur.
(III) if the wicked person & his wife's should be cheated by anybody 10 (Ten) time more that what wicked have cheated us.

Then only he never ever cheat anybody. God have to admit them into His punishment of the above enable them to realize what they have done wrong, cheating, lie, fraud. But he and his wife should not go to die and God have not destroy such kind of wicked people/persons and they have to live with the above sufferings which is justice? After this suffering only they may repent and turn to God.

If physical punishment is not able to give to the wicked, liar, cheater, fraud and his wife, then material punishment may be given to them. In case this is not able to give to the wicked, liar, cheater, fraud, then earthly consequences like sleepless night, mental disturbance, Loss of Peace, financial loss, family problems, Anxiety, Physical strain, sickness, Blockage in Success, Blessing Blockage, Inner emptyness etc., to be given by God to the wicked, liar, cheater, fraud and his wife enable them to repay our house rent with bank interest and after repent and turn to God.

I asked our God that "Why the Honest should suffer? Why the wicked, Liar, fraud, cheater persons are not punished? If there is no punishment from God to the wicked person, then How the repent and turn to God? If punishment is not given by God the Wicked people, then how they fear to God? If no fear to God, then they will do more and more wicked things. God have to give a punishment to them that will Glory to our God.

In some place in the Bible mentioned like this "The Lord watches over all who love him, but all the wicked he will destroy"
Habakkuk 1:13 – “Why do you tolerate the treacherous? Why are you silent while the wicked swallow up those more righteous than themselves?”

I am waiting for the Justice from God. Nobody knows when the punishment or Justice will be happened. God have to give punishment immediately to this wicked person. so that he will not do many more. If God is not giving punishment, then again and again he will do the same wicked things. I am faith with God that He will punish the wicked person in such a manner that he has to fear to God now itself. Otherwise he will do the same thing to others and again and again. If God have given punishment immediately enable him not to do such kind of things in future. Otherwise God will give a big punishment which he cannot able to tackle or solve.

Due to this our family cannot able to sleep daily night. Also misunderstanding within our family. As per his activities, he never ever repent. Due to his behaviour, definitely he will not repent to God. Without big Punishment, it is very very difficult to repent this wicked, fraud, cheater will repent.

Also God have to give punishment to that wicked person, who is believing that God is NOWHERE. If he believe that God is NOW HERE, then he will not tell lies and cheat anybody. Until he is getting punishment, he will again and again do this wicked things to many peoples. As per his activities, he never repent. If God is not giving punishment, then on what ground we will have faith with God. Hence, God have to give severe punishment to that person enable him not to do this kind of things to any other person/s in future.

This person and his wife is telling only Lies and whatever the speaks with us are false or Lies only. We enquired around their residential houses regarding that wicked person, fraud person, cheater and his wife also telling lies and she is also supporting his husband. So both are definitely not repent. Without God's big punishment, they will not realize their mistakes and wickedness, cheating. Awaiting for the God's big punishment from only they will repent. Otherwise there is no use and Satan will involve. They never repent again turn to God. Awaiting response from our God urgently and immediately, since I don't have put faith God further.

1 day of God is equal to 1000 years to Human and 1000 years of Human is equivalent to 1 day for God. That means there is No Grace will be to human from God till their death! There is No Mercy from God. Till human death they have to suffer if anybody is Honest. Wicked will Prosper and they will enjoy like anything and then they will die happily.

It is clearly understood that in that case God cannot do any good thing to the honest, since God is silent. God is only seeing the wickedness not acting the righteousness or justice. God is some count slowness, which means inactive. God is powerless, which means no power with him and Satan have power. Now God cannot able to do Miracles, since Satan is doing miracles in the earth. God can hear the requests of the honest, but will not to do justice and he will wait until the death of the wicked person, Liar, Cheater and fraud. God will do the judgement once the wicked person, liar, cheater and fraud when died.

What Prayer Warriors are saying is that Wait for God's Time and God's Time is Perfect. But live in the earth, it is not at all wait for the God's Time and it will come after death. Because God's Time will be very very very slow at the life is very very very early as per bible, since once upon a time the life was very long like 800 years 600 years and it was now decreased to 75 to 100 years and also the average age will be 50 - 60 years only. Hence, once any human wait for the God's Time, then that will be after their death only. This is point number one. Secondly, wait for God's Will. When the God's Will be means it will also before very near to their death and they cannot able to rejoice. Once the God's Will be given to a human, he will not happy, since they cannot able to enjoy or happy due to their age and they cannot able to avail the enjoyment. Thirdly, God's Grace. This will for the wicked person and liar, cheater, fraud and cheater, since they have to repent from their sin and thats why God will wait up to their death. Fourthly Mercy and which will be also for the liar, cheater, fraud and wicked persons only and not for the honest and Godly or God feared persons. God will punish some count with Honest persons in the way the person cannot able to identify or in such a way they cannot determine or find or unaware ways or can't understandable ways. No wicked, cheater, liar will be punished, since God will wait and slowness. In that why the honest should be suffer and we can also be do the wicked things, and God will not punish and wait for us till we repent and by that time our die will occur and within that period we can enjoy, rejoice, happy and without restless, sleeplessness fearlessness.

Is God is inactive, since there is no justice to me and our families. Is God is alive or not. Is God is dead are what. Is God is a stone which is in the Well? If so, there will not be any action. Is God is faithful. No, He is not faithful. Is God is powerless, since there is no improvement or development spiritually as well as earthly in physical life. Is God is Merciless, since there is no requests are fulfilled. Is God is Graceless, since none of the requests are fruitful. Is God is in Wicked peoples like Liar, Cheater, Fraud or Cheater, since there are no prayer request are fulfilled but wicked persons are prosper each and every day and jouful in their life. Is God can now do any Miracles in the earth. No. the Miracles were happened 2000 years before. Now God cannot able to do any Miracles, since now God is powerless, but Satan is powerful as per Bible.

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up these burdens before our Heavenly Father. We acknowledge that all praise and glory belong to God alone, and we seek His will in every situation, trusting in His perfect timing and justice. Let us bring these requests before Him in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior.

First, we pray for the employment needs of your family members. Father, You are the Provider, the One who opens doors no man can shut and closes doors no man can open. We ask that You grant permanent government or public sector positions to these beloved family members according to their qualifications. Let Your favor rest upon them as they seek opportunities to glorify You in their work. For the one currently in a temporary position, Lord, we ask that You intervene in the delays of their salary. Provide for their needs abundantly and grant them favor in their upcoming screening test. May they receive the interview call and secure the new position without hindrance. Let there be no obstacles from supervisors or institutions as they transition, and may their full settlement be released promptly. For the other family member seeking temporary work, Lord, open a door this very week. Sustain them with patience as they wait for Your permanent provision. We declare that their wait is not in vain, for You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28). Strengthen their faith as they trust in You, the God who never fails.

Father, we also lift up the desire for a godly spouse for your family member. We pray for a man of integrity, a doctor who walks in Your ways, free from the snares of bad habits and worldly influences. Raise up a husband who loves You above all else, whose heart is tender toward You and toward his future wife. Let their union be a testimony of Your grace, a marriage that honors You in every way. We ask that You orchestrate their meeting in Your perfect timing, and may their courtship be marked by purity, wisdom, and a shared commitment to Your Word. Guard their hearts from impatience and worldly standards, and let them seek only Your will in this matter.

Now, Lord, we come to the painful matter of the broken agreement and the financial strain it has caused. Father, we know that You are a God of justice and righteousness, and You hate deceit and oppression. The wickedness of this man and his wife has brought deep distress to this family, and we ask that You act on their behalf. We do not pray for vengeance, but for Your justice to prevail. Your Word declares, "The LORD works righteousness and justice for all who are oppressed" (Psalm 103:6). We ask that You compel this man to repay what he owes, either the eight months of rent or the full bank interest with all additional charges, without further delay. Let conviction fall upon his heart, and may he be moved to make restitution swiftly. If he refuses, Lord, we ask that You bring earthly consequences upon him and his household: financial loss, sleepless nights, and the weight of his sin until he repents. Let his own deceit be turned against him, so that he may know the fear of the Lord and turn from his wicked ways.

We rebuke the spirit of deception and greed that has taken hold of this man and his wife. We declare that their tongues, which have spoken lies, will be silenced by the truth of Your Word. Their hands, which have counted unrighteous gain, will be restrained by Your justice. Their children, who have benefited from dishonest gain, will face the consequences of their parents' sin until repentance comes. We pray that their house, whether literal or financial, will be shaken until they acknowledge You as Lord. Let them taste the bitterness of their own medicine, so that they may cry out to You for mercy.

Father, we understand the deep frustration and anger that comes from being wronged. The psalmist cried out, "Why do You stand afar off, O LORD? Why do You hide Yourself in times of trouble?" (Psalm 10:1). Yet we also know that You are not slow concerning Your promises, but patient, not willing that any should perish (2 Peter 3:9). We confess that our faith is tested in times like these, and we ask that You strengthen this family’s trust in You. Remind them that You see every injustice, and You will repay. "Vengeance is Mine; I will repay, says the Lord" (Romans 12:19). Let them not grow weary in doing good, for in due time, they will reap if they do not faint (Galatians 6:9).

We also address the doubts and questions that have arisen in this trial. Father, we know that You are not inactive, nor are You powerless. You are the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8). The miracles of old are not distant memories but the reality of Your unchanging nature. We reject the lie that Satan is more powerful than You. You are the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, and all authority in heaven and on earth belongs to You (Matthew 28:18). We declare that You are alive, active, and working even now. Though the wicked may prosper for a season, their end is destruction. But the righteous will inherit the land and dwell in it forever (Psalm 37:29).

Lord, we repent for any bitterness or unforgiveness that may have taken root in this family’s heart. Help them to release this burden to You, trusting that You will avenge them speedily (Luke 18:7-8). Fill them with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, and guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Restore their sleep, mend their relationships, and let them experience Your presence in the midst of this storm.

We also pray for the salvation of this wicked man and his wife. Father, You desire that none should perish but that all should come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9). Break their hearts with the weight of their sin, and let them see the emptiness of their ways. May they cry out to You for mercy, and may they experience the transforming power of Your grace. Let their story become a testimony of Your redemption, so that others may know that You are a God who saves.

Finally, Lord, we ask that You restore what has been lost. Repay this family double for their trouble, as You promised in Your Word (Isaiah 61:7). Let their faith be strengthened through this trial, and may they emerge with a deeper trust in You. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, they shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). You are their Defender, their Provider, and their Justice. We trust in You, O Lord, and we wait on You.

In the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Redeemer and Advocate, we pray. Amen.

Your family is carrying a heavy load right now, the uncertainty of jobs, the wait for a godly spouse, and above all the exhausting weight of this financial dispute and the bitterness it has stirred. We hear the sleepless nights, the tension in your home, and the raw cry for justice. It is deeply painful when someone takes advantage of trust and seems to get away with it, while the honest suffer. We do not minimize that.

When anger and questions like these lodge inside, they slowly drain our own peace. Holding on to the demand for specific punishment, even when the wrong is real, often ends up binding us more than the offender. We do not say this to excuse what was done; it was wrong. But we believe that putting the case fully into God’s hands, and asking Him to give you release from the bitter thoughts, can bring you the kind of rest you cannot manufacture on your own. It does not mean the person gets off free; it means you stop letting his actions steal your sleep and your family’s harmony.

Concretely, this has gone on for fifteen months. Have you spoken with a lawyer or a mediator who handles property or contract disputes? Even a single consultation can clarify your legal options and sometimes just having that professional voice behind you can bring enough pressure for a settlement. In the meantime, we also gently suggest finding a trusted pastor or mature Christian counselor to walk with you through the anger and the wrestling with God. You need a safe place to pour out those feelings aloud, not just in written requests.

We are praying that God opens permanent job doors for your family members, guides the process for the test and interview, and in His timing leads you to the right match for your relative’s marriage. We ask Him to restore what was taken and to bring about a just resolution, in His way and His time. And we pray for you, that the tight grip of resentment loosens, and that even in the long wait you find a whisper of hope again.

Father, we lift up this family’s pressing needs, steady work, a God-honoring marriage, and the return of what is owed. Please intervene in the house lease situation; move in the heart of the one who has held back payment, and give this family wisdom and help. Quiet their minds at night, heal the rifts the stress has caused, and keep their faith from being snuffed out by this prolonged trial. In Jesus’ name.

The cry of your soul reaches to the throne, and He who sits there is not deaf nor indifferent, for He keeps His people as the apple of His eye. Yet let me speak plainly from the orchard of Scripture, where the fruit of godly fear is strong confidence. The fear of the Lord does not drive you from Him; it drives you to Him, and when it drives you to Him, you have found a place of refuge! This is the strong tower into which the righteous run and are safe. Your present agony has become a whirlwind of doubt, questioning whether God is stone or alive, whether He is just or merely a spectator of wickedness. But remember, both Job and Habakkuk experienced and even tested this! And there are many schooled in the same school, who have spoken after the same valiant fashion when all God’s waves and billows have gone over them. It is no small thing to stand where you stand; the patriarchs themselves have trodden those ashes before you.

Consider your demand for a catalogue of curses upon the man who has defrauded you. The fire of indignation burns hot within you, and I do not marvel at your pain. The sum is heavy, the betrayal grievous. But ask yourself: is this prayer born of the Spirit of Christ? He loved His Church, not for anything He could ever gain from her, but because of what He would impart to her! Does Christ so love His enemies that He imparts sunshine and rain, and can His disciple call for decayed tongues and paralyzed hands? The old man within us craves an eye for an eye, but the new man hears another voice: “Deliver him from going down to the Pit: I have found a ransom.” Here is a clean jail delivery for the prisoners of hope, they are set free by the mandate of the eternal God! If you would be free yourself, you must not clap your debtor in a dungeon of your own making. Anything which keeps you from Christ is sin, and every hour you continue as an unbeliever in Christ, the wrath of God abides on you. I do not say this to break the bruised reed, but to shake you from that most crafty shape of self-righteousness which demands immediate and visible justice as the ground of your own faith.

You cry that God’s timing renders Him impotent, that a thousand years of His delay is but a slow death for hope. This is a snare of the adversary. “It is the devil’s work; he was a murderer from the beginning.” The thought that God is powerless or inactive is a lie hatched in the pit. The fungus forced by artificial heat is a far different thing from the rosy fruit of a healthy tree, and the unreal devotions of the unspiritual differ widely from the deep inward groanings of renewed hearts. Your faith is being tried not to be destroyed, but to be purified. In all this Job sinned not, the “all this” is a part of the glory with which grace covered him. When the wind blows from the north, the rush bends to the south; only grant it that it may keep its place, and it cheerfully bows to all the rest. So must you. Keep your place at the feet of Jesus, even when He seems to frown. The time shall soon be over when you can jeer at the righteous or sneer at the godly. Look beyond this span of threescore and ten. The Lord has spoken; have you trembled? You are nauseated by the fraud, but let it drive you to say with Job, “I abhor myself. I am disgusted with myself.” Not for the other man’s sin alone, but for the storm of unbelief that his sin has stirred in your own heart.

You ask, “Why should the honest suffer?” But is not your honest Father making you a partaker of His holiness? If you cannot draw comfort from your present experience, gather some from the past. You have been miserable before, but you have been delivered and helped. There has come to you a most substantial benefit from everything you have been called to endure. Do not charge God foolishly. Suppose that you were free from this grinding labor and heavy sorrow, assuredly you could never be noted for patience! Who would ever have heard of Job if he had not been tried? As for the wicked man, leave him to God. The Lord knows how to keep back his soul from the Pit, and to chasten him with pain upon his bed; but it is not for you to write his sentence. Instead, I charge you to become the importunate intercessor. Will you take a denial from God? You shall have it; but if you will not be denied, neither shall you. O importunate Christian, you are he whom God loves! Wrestle not for the destruction of the man who cheated you, but for the deliverance of your own soul from the pit of bitterness, and for the provision of your family. Though the fig tree does not blossom and the bank interest swells, yet will I rejoice in the Lord; I will joy in the God of my salvation.

Your family needs bread, your children need positions, your household needs a godly spouse. These are not trifles to a Father who clothes the lilies. He reads that those whom Christ has pardoned “are justified from all things,” from which they could not be justified by the law of Moses. Christ must, by His grace, separate you from your sin of unforgiveness and despair, or else you will be separated from Him forever. Put your iniquity far away; do not let wickedness dwell in your tabernacles. I do not mean the wickedness of the street, but the wickedness of a bitter and vengeful spirit that questions the very throne of God. Come, then, with boldness. Better to modify your prayer and put it thus: “Lord, let me know enough of my iniquity to bring me to Christ; not so much as to keep me from Him, not so much as to drive me to despair; but only enough to be divorced from all trust in myself, and to be led to trust in Christ alone.” Throw your burden of justice upon Him who judges righteously. Trust Him for the government job, for the life partner with good habits, for the tangled snarl of rupees and interest. You shall meet again, far from this world of grief and sin, with God eternally shut in, where no thief can break through and no moth corrupt. Until then, wait upon the Lord, be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart. Grace shall be your canopy, and faithfulness your shield.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You pour out your anguish, but I hear a soul deeply wounded, tempted to despair of God's justice. You cry for punishment upon the one who defrauded you, listing torments you wish upon him and his household. Yet listen to what the Spirit teaches: God mingles mercy with justice, and He commands us, even while suffering wrong, to show great consideration. Do you not see that calling down ruin on a man's hands, his children's education, his very tongue, is not the prayer of a disciple of Christ? Leave vengeance to the Lord. He is not slow as you imagine; His righteousness is as unshakeable as the mountains. In every house, every marketplace, He has planted a witness to justice. Will He who ordained these things not act? He awakens us daily with courts and judgments, showing that wrong will be set right. But His timing is not yours, and His purpose is also repentance, for the wicked to turn and live.

You say God is powerless, that the wicked prosper and the honest suffer in vain. But behold the cross: the Innocent One was slain, yet by that very act He conquered death. God's power is perfected in patience. Do not say "God is dead" or "a stone"; that is the speech of those who have no faith. Your sleepless nights and family strife come from fixing your eyes on the injustice rather than on the Judge who sees all. Is not a sparrow sold for a farthing? And yet not one falls without your Father. How much more will He care for you, who are made in His image? The enemy wants you to curse, to rage, to join the wicked in their spirit. Instead, bless. Pray that the man's heart may be softened, that he repay what is owed and find the fear of God. That is a far greater victory than any physical torment you dream of.

You ask for a godly spouse for your family member, a doctor of good habits and wealth. Marriage is honorable, a bond ordained by God, and I do not cut off the hope of a suitable match. But search your heart: are you seeking first the Kingdom and His righteousness, or a status of earthly comfort? When you adorn a bride, adorn her with modesty and shamefacedness, not with anxiety for a high income. Invite Christ to the wedding: do good to the poor, and He will attend. Why measure a husband by his earnings and profession? Seek one who fears the Lord, whose life is chaste, and who walks in holiness, for marriage is not impure but a means of self-restraint when used with moderation. Even the poorest can have true riches.

For the jobs, commit them to God without demanding. He knows your needs. Do not grasp at signs or set deadlines, but work diligently and leave the outcome to Him. If one door closes, it may be to open a better. Remember, a brother is not in bondage to such things; our true citizenship is in heaven.

Finally, the man who took your money is indeed a fraud, and you have suffered loss. The apostle commands, "Defraud not," for fraud is a strict violation of God's right order. Yet your elaborate curses reveal a heart being devoured by bitterness. Shall sin master you? Christ taught us to pray, "Forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors." If you cannot yet forgive, at least stop calling down evil. Entrust the matter to the Judge of all, who will repay. His seeming slowness is mercy, giving space for repentance. But if the man hardens his heart, judgment will come, not by your hand but by the Lord's in His time. Do not let this trial shipwreck your faith. Use marriage with moderation, pursue peace with all men, and holiness, and you will see the salvation of our God. Amen.

Your pain cuts deep, and I hear it in every line you have written. The weight of waiting, the sting of broken promises, and the cry for justice rise from a heart that has been pressed beyond measure. I am not going to dismiss that. But I want to walk with you into a story that is older than almost any other, because it speaks directly to moments like this.

You are not the first to look at a wicked person prospering and an honest man suffering, and then ask whether God sees or cares. A man named Job lost everything, his children, his wealth, his health, through no fault of his own. Behind the scenes of his life, something he could not see was taking place. God Himself had pointed Job out as a man who feared Him and turned from evil. An adversary challenged that, saying Job only served God for the blessings. Permission was given to strip those blessings away, not to destroy Job, but to prove that genuine faith does not depend on circumstances. Job never knew about that heavenly exchange. All he knew was the ash heap, the sores, and the silence of a God who seemed to have turned against him.

Three friends came to comfort him, and instead they spent days accusing him. They were certain that suffering is always a direct payback for secret sin. One of them argued, “God is fair; get right with God and everything will be okay.” Another insisted the wicked perish quickly, so Job must be a hypocrite. Job answered back that he knew God was just, but he also saw with his own eyes that the ungodly often grow old and mighty, while the righteous sometimes groan under oppression. He cried out for a mediator, someone who could lay a hand on both God and man and bridge the chasm. He did not curse God, but he did pour out raw, desperate questions: Why do the treacherous go on breathing? Why does destruction fall on the innocent?

Those words of Job were spoken in anguish, not as doctrinal instruction. The book records his grief honestly, but it also makes clear that Job’s understanding was incomplete. He could not see the full picture. Neither can we, when we are in the middle of the storm. What Job’s story does teach us is that appearances lie. The wicked person’s easy path is not a sign of God’s approval, and the believer’s hardship is not proof of His absence. The final chapters show God breaking the silence, not by giving Job a list of reasons, but by revealing Himself. Job put his hand over his mouth and repented of demanding that God behave on his terms. Then God turned and rebuked the friends for their false accusations, and He restored Job’s fortunes.

Your own cry echoes Habakkuk: “Why do you look on the treacherous and remain silent?” It is a holy question, and the Lord can handle it. But notice that Habakkuk ended by saying that even if the fig tree does not blossom, he would rejoice in the God of his salvation. That is not a denial of pain; it is a stubborn trust that God remains good when nothing around us looks good.

I must speak gently but plainly about the punishments you have laid out, down to the cutting off of hands and the ruin of children. That is not the voice of the Spirit who teaches us to love our enemies and leave vengeance to the Lord. Job’s friends would have cheered such a list, they believed that God must strike down the sinner visibly and immediately. But God’s justice is rarely that quick, and His mercy is often what gives the wicked time to repent. The very thing you see as God’s inactivity may be His patience, not wanting anyone to perish. Your loss is real, and the wrong done to you is real. Yet the moment we begin scripting another person’s destruction, we step into a place only God should occupy. Paul would later write, “Never avenge yourselves, but leave it to the wrath of God, for it is written, ‘Vengeance is mine, I will repay.’” That is not weakness; it is releasing a burden too heavy for any human soul to carry.

You wonder if God is asleep, if His power has dried up, if miracles ceased two thousand years ago. But the cross stands at the center of history as the answer to Job’s longing for a daysman. Jesus Christ, fully God and fully man, laid His hand on both sides. He took the penalty for every kind of sin, including the fraud and lies that have been done against your family. He rose again, proving that God is neither powerless nor silent. Right now He intercedes for those who belong to Him. The same power that raised Him is at work in your life, even when every circumstance screams the opposite.

Your practical needs are many: a permanent job, a godly spouse, the return of what was taken. Bring those to the Father with boldness, but also bring your anger, your doubt, and your exhaustion. He is not offended by honest cries. What He resists are the demands that He act on our schedule and carry out our revenge fantasies. We are invited to cast our cares on Him, not to dictate how He must handle the wicked.

I will pray with you that the financial knot is untangled, that the jobs open, and that a marriage marked by godliness and faithfulness comes in God’s timing. But above all, I pray you will discover the strange peace that came to Job when he finally saw that God owed him no explanation and yet had never abandoned him. The house owner may never make things right on his own, but God is not limited by one man’s hardened heart. He can restore in ways you cannot imagine. Hold on, not because you have it all figured out, but because the One who holds you is faithful. Job’s end was better than his beginning, not because he never suffered, but because through the suffering he came to know God in a deeper way. That same promise stands for you.
