Marriage In Big Trouble! Please Pray!

Please pray for my wife, my kids and my marriage! Both my wife and I are Christians. I have not been a good husband for much of our marriage. There was no physical abuse or infidelity, but there has been a great deal of emotional pain over the years. We separated once after more than 20 years of marriage and I found the Lord in a fresh new way. We got back together, but she didn't believe the change. Now things are worse than they were before and we are separated again. She is a godly woman who is very wounded. And I still have much work to do. I know she is contemplating ending the marriage and that breaks my heart. I so want out relationship to bring glory to God and be a living testimony of what He can do. Please pray that we would each receive healing and that He would NOT let her go the way of the world. Pray for complete restoration and a NEW marriage between she and I. I love her very much and so want this to work. Thank you.

Choose to trust that God has our best interest at heart and lean on His strength to get you through your day. Thank God for the things He has done in your past and will do now and in the future. Stay strong in your faith. There are many stories where GOD has restored marriages when there seemed to be no hope. I will pray for you and your family.

Thank you all so much for your prayers and encouraging words. Based on what she is saying, I should plan on being separated for at least a year. I know she is coming from a very bad place right now and God will work on His timetable. Still, I understand that God works through time, and I believe she needs a lot of it.

There is no certainty in whether or not she will heal, nor where she will take this. I am truly powerless.

It is my prayer that she would find complete healing in Christ and be filled with a love that would find hope. This is important. I don't want us to miss out on what God has for us.
