Marriage Falling Apart; Kids Suffer

I joined this group so I could pray for people daily, but for some reason I neglect to ask for myself. I think it's a pride issue. The Bible says "only by pride cometh contention". Anyway, my husband and I just can't get along. We've fought for what seems like years. My 12 year old is having trouble in school and I feel like our fighting has a lot to do with it. Now my 2 year old sees me cry almost every day. My husband is very cruel at times. He curses me and even raises his hands to me infront of the kids, but he wants to be a good Christian. He doesn't seem to be changing. I feel devorce is a sin, but it's my next option. Please pray for my family; that my husband and I can get along and for God to call to him.

I definately need prayer, but could use some advice too please.

Lord, we come in prayer agreement that You will hearken to our prayers for this dear sister, Pinto. We pray that You will teach and inpart this truth of YOur precious word in Ephesians 5:25-33 into this man's heart and spirit.

Eph.5:25 Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for her, 26 that He might sanctify and cleanse her with the washing of water by the word, 27 that He might present her to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without blemish. 28 So husbands ought to love their own wives as their own bodies; he who loves his wife loves himself. 29 For no one ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it, just as the Lord does the church. 30 For we are members of His body,[d] of His flesh and of His bones. 31 “For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh.â€[e] 32 This is a great mystery, but I speak concerning Christ and the church. 33 Nevertheless let each one of you in particular so love his own wife as himself, and let the wife see that she respects her husband.

Therefore we claim and declare this promise into this man's life in the Name of Jesus-Matthew 18:18-19

18 “Assuredly, I say to you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.

19 “Again I say[c] to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven. 20 For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them.â€
