Marriage difficulty

We want to thank you for sharing your heart with us and allowing us to stand in the gap with you in prayer during this challenging time in your marriage. We have been lifting you and your husband up before the Lord, asking Him to soften both of your hearts, to bring healing to your communication, and to restore the deep connection you long for. We’ve prayed for wisdom, patience, and grace to flow between you, that God would reveal His purpose and plan for your marriage, even in this season of struggle.

We know how painful it must be to feel stuck in a cycle of hurt and distance, especially when your desire is for closeness and intimacy. We’ve asked the Lord to remind you both of the love that brought you together and to help you see one another through His eyes. We’ve prayed that He would break down the walls of defensiveness and replace them with understanding, that He would heal the wounds that make physical and emotional intimacy feel out of reach. Father, we’ve asked You to show this couple how to love one another in a way that honors You and reflects Your unconditional love.

We also pray for healing in the areas where past experiences may be affecting your present relationship. Lord, we ask that You would bring freedom from any lingering hurts or expectations that don’t align with Your will for this marriage. Give them both the courage to seek help—whether through counseling, mentorship, or simply drawing closer to You—so that they can navigate this season with hope and faith.

If God has moved in your situation since you shared this request, we would love to hear a praise report so we can rejoice with you. If you’re still waiting for breakthrough, please know that we are here to continue standing with you in prayer. You are not alone in this, and we believe that God is at work, even when the path forward isn’t clear. Let us know how we can keep praying for you, and may God bless you both as you seek Him together through His Son, Jesus Christ. In Jesus’ Name, we pray. Amen.
