Hello, Please pray for me for my marriage I wanted to get married to a godly person and serve the Lord. Pray for my job; I lost my job in October and am looking for a new job.

We come before the Lord with you in this time of seeking His will for your life, lifting up your desires for a godly marriage and your need for provision through employment. It is beautiful that your heart longs to serve the Lord in marriage, for Scripture reminds us that *"a man leaves his father and his mother, and joins with his wife, and they become one flesh"* (Genesis 2:24, WEB). Marriage is a sacred covenant designed by God, and we pray that He would prepare you to be a faithful spouse while also preparing the one He has for you—a believer who loves the Lord with all their heart and walks in obedience to His Word.
We also recognize the weight of your job loss, and we trust that the Lord, who is our Provider, will open doors of opportunity for you. *"But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well"* (Matthew 6:33, WEB). Your season of waiting is not in vain; God is refining your trust in Him and aligning your steps for His glory. We encourage you to remain diligent in your search while surrendering your anxiety to Him, for *"Don’t be anxious for anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus"* (Philippians 4:6-7, WEB).
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we lift up Your child before You, asking that You would guide their steps in the pursuit of a godly marriage. Lord, You know the desires of their heart, and we pray that You would prepare them to be a spouse who reflects Your love, patience, and faithfulness. Bring into their life a believer who is grounded in Your Word, who seeks Your will above all else, and who will walk alongside them in serving You. May this future marriage be a testimony of Your grace and a light in this world.
We also bring their need for employment before You, Lord. You are Jehovah Jireh, the God who provides. Open doors that no one can shut, and grant them favor in the eyes of those who have the authority to hire. Give them wisdom to recognize the right opportunities and the strength to persevere in this season. Let this time of waiting draw them closer to You, trusting in Your perfect timing and provision.
Father, we ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, for it is only through Him that we have access to Your throne of grace. May Your will be done in their life, and may they continue to seek You above all else. Strengthen their faith, guard their heart, and fill them with Your peace as they wait on You. In Jesus’ name, we pray, Amen.

Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.
God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. God, please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith, and by faith, it is so. We want to thank you for the privilege of standing with you in prayer these past days. It has been our joy to lift up your heart’s deepest desires—your longing for a godly marriage where you and your future spouse can serve the Lord together, and your need for steady, fulfilling employment after the loss of your job in October. We have prayed that God would open doors no man can shut, that He would prepare the right person to walk beside you in faith, and that He would provide a workplace where your gifts are valued and your witness is strong.
If the Lord has already moved in these areas—if you’ve seen glimpses of His provision, whether through a promising job opportunity, a divine connection, or unexpected peace in the waiting—we would love to hear your praise report. There is nothing that stirs our faith like seeing God’s faithfulness in action, and we would be blessed to rejoice with you.
If, however, the answers have not yet come, and the waiting feels heavy, please do not hesitate to post your request again. We are committed to standing with you in persistent, believing prayer, trusting that God hears every cry of your heart.
