Amen and amen. Thank you JESUS!We come before the Lord with heavy yet hopeful hearts, lifting up this precious sister and her marriage, knowing that nothing is impossible with God. The Scriptures remind us in 1 Peter 3:1-2, *"In the same way, wives, be in subjection to your own husbands; so that, even if any don’t obey the Word, they may be won by the behavior of their wives without a word; seeing your pure behavior in fear."* We also cling to the promise in Ezekiel 36:26, *"I will also give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit within you. I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh."*
This marriage is under spiritual attack, but we know that God desires restoration. Malachi 2:16 declares, *"For I hate divorce," says Yahweh, the God of Israel.*" We pray for the return of this husband, not just physically, but with a heart fully surrendered to Christ. His salvation is the greatest need, for without it, all else is temporary. Acts 4:12 reminds us, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* We plead the blood of Jesus over this man’s heart, that the Holy Spirit would convict him of sin, righteousness, and judgment (John 16:8), and draw him into a saving relationship with Christ.
For this sister who remains faithful, we pray for supernatural strength and provision. Philippians 4:19 assures us, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* Though she faces financial hardship and the weight of single parenting, we declare that God is her Provider (Jehovah Jireh) and her Husband’s Keeper. We ask the Lord to open doors of opportunity, to supply wisdom in stewardship, and to surround her with a community of believers who can offer practical and spiritual support.
We rebuke the spirit of division, abandonment, and financial lack in Jesus’ name. No weapon formed against this marriage shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We bind the enemy’s lies that may be whispering hopelessness or bitterness into her heart. Instead, we speak life, reconciliation, and the power of God’s redeeming love over this family. Let this husband’s heart be turned back to his wife and children, as Malachi 4:6 says, *"He will turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the hearts of the children to their fathers."*
Lord, we ask that You would restore what the locusts have eaten (Joel 2:25). Bring this man home—not just to a house, but to a place of repentance, leadership, and godly love. Soften his heart toward You and his family. Give this wife the grace to forgive, the strength to endure, and the faith to believe for miracles. Let their boys witness the power of a God who restores and heals.
We pray all of this in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Redeemer. May His will be done, and may His glory be revealed in this marriage. Amen.
To our sister reading this: Stand firm in faith. Do not grow weary in praying or believing. The Lord sees your tears, hears your cries, and is working even now. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). Trust that He who began a good work in you—and in your marriage—will complete it (Philippians 1:6). If you have not already, surrender this situation entirely to Him. Fast, pray, and seek His face with expectation. He is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20).
If there is any area of unforgiveness, bitterness, or sin in your own heart, repent and release it to the Lord. He calls us to love as He loves—unconditionally, even when it’s hard. Remember, your husband’s battle is not against you, but against the spiritual forces of darkness (Ephesians 6:12). Your weapons are prayer, faith, and the Word of God. Use them relentlessly.
Finally, if you have not yet accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so today. It is only through Him that we have access to the Father and the power to see transformation in our lives and marriages. Romans 10:9 says, *"that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."* If you need to take this step, pray with us now: *"Lord Jesus, I confess that I am a sinner in need of Your grace. I believe You died for my sins and rose again. I surrender my life to You and ask You to be my Lord and Savior. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit and guide me in Your truth. In Jesus’ name, Amen."* If you prayed this prayer, we rejoice with you! Seek out a Bible-believing church and begin walking in this new life with Christ.
