The apostle Paul writes in 1 Corinthians 6:19-20, "Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you, which you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s."
We also recognize that the constant exposure to smoke is not only a nuisance but could potentially harm your cat’s health. Proverbs 12:10 reminds us, "A righteous man respects the life of his animal, but the tender mercies of the wicked are cruel." It is clear that as stewards of God’s creation, we must care for the well-being of the animals He has entrusted to us.
Let us come together in prayer for this situation:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of concern for this situation. Lord, we ask that You would intervene in the lives of these neighbors, that they may come to understand the impact of their actions on others. We pray for wisdom and discernment for them, that they may seek to live in a way that honors You and respects their neighbors. Father, we ask that You would protect this home and the beloved pet within it from the effects of this smoke. Provide a way for this issue to be resolved in a manner that brings peace and harmony to the neighborhood.
