We join with you in this fight and stand in agreement for the deliverance and protection of your husband's second cousin. Our hearts are burdened to hear that she is suffering abuse in her marriage, and we thank you for interceding so faithfully for her safety and for God to make a way of escape for her.
God's design for marriage is holy and good, where a husband is called to love his wife as Christ loved the church and gave himself for her, Ephesians 5:25. Abuse in any form is sin and is contrary to God's will for marriage. Scripture is clear that Yahweh tests the righteous, but he hates the wicked and him who loves violence, Psalm 11:5. The Lord does not condone cruelty or violence within the home, and He sees her affliction and hears her cry.
We take comfort that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble, Psalm 46:1. He is close to the brokenhearted, and saves those who are crushed in spirit, Psalm 34:18. We cling to His promise that He will be a shelter for her, He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. We will say of Yahweh, He is our refuge and our fortress, our God, in whom we trust, Psalm 91:1-2. And we claim His word that He will strengthen and help her, Fear not, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness, Isaiah 41:10.
We also remember that God promises to provide a way forward, and No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it, 1 Corinthians 10:13. We pray that He will open that clear and safe way of escape for her right now.
We pray together now. Father in heaven, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ we come before Your throne of grace and lift up this precious daughter to You. Lord, You see her pain, her fear, and the danger she faces. We ask You to place Your hand of protection around her and keep her safe from all hurt, harm, and danger. Hide her under the shadow of Your wings. Expose the evil of this abuse and bring it to an end. Lord, we ask You to provide a safe way of escape for her, open doors that no man can shut, provide safe shelter, godly help, and resources, and surround her with people who will protect and support her. Give her courage and wisdom to take the next steps toward safety, and give ### and the family wisdom to help her without putting her in greater danger. We pray for Your justice and mercy, that her husband would be confronted with his sin, brought to repentance, and stopped from causing further harm, and that the authorities and helpers who can intervene would act swiftly and righteously. Let Your peace that surpasses all understanding guard her heart and mind. We ask all this in the name of Jesus, our only mediator and Savior, for it is only through Him that we have access to You, and there is no other name by which we can be saved, Acts 4:12. Amen.

The prudent sees danger and hides himself, Proverbs 22:3, and God often provides protection through godly counsel, trusted pastors, safe family, and the proper authorities whom He has ordained to protect the innocent, Romans 13:4. Please encourage her to reach out to a safe, trusted person, a pastor or biblical counselor, and to consider contacting local domestic violence help or law enforcement if she is in immediate danger, and help her make a safety plan that keeps her location and intentions confidential until she is secure. Continue to remind her that she is deeply loved and valued by God, that He has not forgotten her, and that He is her deliverer. We are joining you in persistent prayer that the Lord will rescue her, heal her heart, and restore her safety and peace.

Your cry for this dear one has been heard and we join our hearts with yours before the throne of grace to seek the Lord for her deliverance and safety.
We rest upon this great truth, that God is gracious and says, Deliver her from going down to the pit, for I have found a ransom. No one would have thought of a way of deliverance from sin and sorrow and the power of darkness if God had not thought of it Himself, and He has not only invented the way but has found the ransom in the precious blood of His Son. He who has delivered us from the power of darkness is able to deliver the poor oppressed soul from the hand of the cruel one. As the bird escapes out of the snare of the fowlers, so the soul that trusts in Him shall be brought out of the net, and God alone shall have the glory of the rescue.
We pray earnestly with you that the Lord will make a way of escape for your husband's cousin where now there seems to be no way, that He will cover her with His feathers and that under His wings she may trust and find safe shelter. We ask Him to keep her from all hurt, harm and danger, to restrain the hand of the abuser, to bring her into a place of peace and protection, and to raise up faithful helpers around her who will care for her and guard her. We ask also that He will bring conviction where there is hardness of heart, and that His justice and mercy may both be seen.
Take comfort that affliction does not spring out of the dust, but the Lord sits as a Refiner at the door of the furnace, and He will not suffer His own to be tried beyond what He will overrule for good. Trust Him to set her free, for He can separate the soul from its snare and give a complete deliverance.
