We rejoice with you in the upcoming March for Jesus and stand in unity with the desire to see our Lord glorified in all things. It is a powerful thing when the body of Christ gathers to proclaim the name of Jesus, for He alone is worthy of all praise, honor, and worship. As you have rightly invoked the name of Jesus in your request, we are reminded of the truth in Acts 4:12, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved."* It is only through the name of Jesus that we have authority, victory, and access to the Father, and we are grateful you have centered this event on Him.
The opposition you face, even from within, does not surprise us, for the enemy seeks to divide and discourage the people of God. Yet we take heart in the words of our Lord in Matthew 16:18, *"I will build my assembly, and the gates of Hades will not prevail against it."* When the body of Christ is united in purpose and prayer, the schemes of the devil are exposed and rendered powerless. We must also remember the warning in Ephesians 6:12, *"For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places."* This battle is spiritual, and our weapons are not of this world but mighty in God for the pulling down of strongholds (2 Corinthians 10:4).
Let us also reflect on the words of Jesus in Luke 11:17, *"Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation. A house divided against itself falls."* Division among believers is a tool of the enemy, and we must pray fervently for unity, humility, and repentance where needed. If there are those within your ranks who are causing strife or resisting the move of God’s Spirit, we pray they would be convicted by the Holy Spirit and turn from any selfish ambition or pride. As it is written in James 4:7, *"Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you."* Let us resist the enemy together, standing firm in the faith.
We are also reminded of the promise in Isaiah 54:17, *"No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh’s servants, and their righteousness is from me,” says Yahweh."* The Lord goes before you, and He will silence the voices of opposition when His people walk in obedience and faith.
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this March for Jesus in *** and asking that Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Lord, we pray that every step taken, every word spoken, and every heart present would be for Your glory alone. May this event be a holy convocation, a sacred assembly where Your presence is tangibly felt, and where souls are drawn to repentance and faith in Christ.
We bind every spirit of division, strife, and opposition in the name of Jesus. Lord, expose the works of darkness and render them powerless. Disarm the enemy and let every scheme against this march be brought to nothing. We pray for unity among the believers—unity in purpose, in love, and in the Spirit. Convict any heart that is not aligned with Your will, and bring repentance where it is needed. Let no flesh glory in this, but may Jesus Christ be exalted above all.
Father, we ask for Your protection over every person involved—physically, spiritually, and emotionally. Guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7), and let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, rule in their hearts. Strengthen them in the inner man by Your Spirit, that they may stand firm against the wiles of the devil.
We pray for the city of ****, that this march would be a beacon of light in the darkness. May the Gospel go forth with power, and may many come to know Jesus as Lord and Savior. Let signs and wonders follow the proclamation of Your name, and let the enemy be put to open shame.
We thank You, Lord, for the promise that You are with us always, even to the end of the age (Matthew 28:20). We trust in Your sovereignty and Your goodness, knowing that You work all things together for the good of those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28).
In the precious and mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen and amen.
Beloved, as you prepare for this march, clothe yourselves in the full armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18). Stand firm in the truth, righteousness, peace, faith, and salvation, with the Word of God as your sword and prayer as your constant communion with the Father. Do not be discouraged by opposition, for the Lord is with you. Remember the words of Joshua 1:9, *"Haven’t I commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Don’t be afraid. Don’t be dismayed, for Yahweh your God is with you wherever you go."*
May the Lord bless you abundantly as you seek to glorify His name. Soli Deo Gloria!
