We join with you in prayer for this March for Jesus in 2027 in your city in Austria, the city of Jesus, and we rejoice that your desire is to honor God and let His light shine brightly there.

We love your heart to lift up the name of Jesus publicly, for there is power and salvation in that name alone. As it is written, God also highly exalted him, and gave to him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, those on earth, and those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Philippians 2:9-11. And it is also written, You are the light of the world. A city located on a hill cannot be hidden. Even so, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father who is in heaven. Matthew 5:14, Matthew 5:16.

We pray together for this vision that has been placed on your hearts.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, and we thank You for the hunger in this city to exalt Your Son. We ask that if it is Your will, You would open every door for this March for Jesus in 2027 to take place. We pray for favor with the city officials, for unity among the churches and believers who are discussing this, and for wisdom and strength for every organizer and volunteer. Let Your light dispel all darkness there, and let the gospel be proclaimed with boldness and love so that many may hear and believe. We pray that this march would not be merely an event, but a true witness that declares Your glory among the nations and Your marvelous works among all the peoples. Psalm 96:3. We ask that You would draw hearts to Yourself, that Your name would be honored in the streets of that city, and that pride in man would be humbled and pride in Christ would be lifted high, for Your Word says Your word is a lamp to our feet, and a light for our path. Psalm 119:105. We pray for protection over all who will gather and for a lasting fruit of repentance, faith, and fellowship long after the march is over. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

We encourage you to continue in prayer and fellowship with other believers there, seeking the Lord's leading and timing, and trusting that He will guide every step. We also encourage you to keep proclaiming Christ not only in a march but daily in word and deed, for we are His witnesses to the ends of the earth. Acts 1:8. How will they call on him in whom they have not believed. How will they believe in him whom they have not heard. How will they hear without a preacher. Romans 10:14. May the Lord establish your plans as you commit them to Him, and may the city called by the name of Jesus truly become known for shining His light in Austria and beyond.

Thank you for sharing this vision with us. We can hear your love for your city and your desire to see Jesus honored openly there in 2027.

We are praying with you that God would make His will clear as discussions continue, and that He would draw together believers across churches in unity and purpose. A public witness like this shines most when it grows out of steady prayer and genuine fellowship beforehand, so the city sees not just an event but a community that already loves and serves together.

One simple step that often helps in this season is to gather a small circle of two or three others to pray regularly for the march, for wisdom for organizers, and for favor with city leaders. Staying in conversation with local pastors and with the city early can also help discern what is possible and keep the focus on honoring Christ well.

Father, we lift up this city in Austria and every person involved in considering this march. We ask for Your guidance, for unity among Your people, and for open doors according to Your will. Let Your light shine there and let Jesus be lifted up with joy and grace. Give wisdom, peace and perseverance to all who are planning and praying. In Jesus' name, amen.

[Spurgeon]

Your burden to see Jesus openly honoured in your city is a gracious and fitting desire, for it is the very office of the Holy Spirit to glorify Christ and to take of the things of Christ and show them unto men. We will join you in prayer that the Lord would be pleased to grant a March for Jesus in 2027 in that place which bears His name, and that it may be ordered wholly to the glory of God and not to the glory of man.

We pray that He who is God of the hills and God of the valleys would cause His light to shine there, that darkness may be scattered and the name of Jesus lifted high in the streets as a public testimony which is a debt we owe both to God and to man. May the simple gospel be proclaimed in the power of the Spirit, that God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life, and may many hear and believe.

We ask the Lord to give wisdom to all who take counsel together for this work, to grant unity among the saints, favour where it is needed, and above all a spirit of prayer and humility, so that in all things you may glory only in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ. May your walk and your witness declare plainly that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the praise of His grace. We commend this desire to our faithful God, who hears those who declare their ways to Him, and we ask it in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

[Chrysostom]

We thank you for sharing this desire to see Jesus openly honored in your city. It is a good and faithful burden to want His name lifted up publicly so that His light may shine where you live, and we rejoice to join you in prayer for this.

We will pray that the Lord will guide every discussion and decision concerning the March for Jesus in 2027, that if it is His will it may come to pass in a way that truly honors God and proclaims the gospel of salvation through Jesus Christ alone with clarity and love. We pray for wisdom for the organizers, for favor with the city, for unity among the churches involved, and for open hearts among those who will see and hear.

Scripture reminds us that to follow after virtue is to walk the narrow path, and that the preaching of the gospel cannot be bound. Even when there are obstacles, the tongue of the evangelist still runs and the message still goes forward. So we pray not only for an event, but for boldness and perseverance for you and all the believers there, that whether through a large march or through daily witness, Christ would be made known.

We ask the Father to let His light shine brightly in your city, to draw many to Himself, and to strengthen you as you wait and prepare. May all that is done be for His glory.

Father, in the name of Jesus we ask for Your will to be done in this city in 2027. Grant wisdom, open doors, and a clear testimony to Your Son, that Your name may be honored and many may hear of Your grace. Amen.
