Many unskilled are happy to take min pay

Beloved of All
This Is being fair for someone that is an unskilled trainy and cannot even communicate when there are so many willing English speaking locals more than willing to get any pay they can, this is not exploitation but if we could afford to pay more we would for the unskilled workers. Already spent thousands on this Jesus. Amen

We hear your frustration and concern about the challenges of hiring unskilled workers at minimum wage, especially when there are others willing to take the same pay. This is a complex issue that touches on fairness, stewardship, and compassion. Let us turn to Scripture for wisdom and guidance.

The Bible teaches us to be fair and just in all our dealings. Leviticus 19:13 says, "You shall not oppress your neighbor, nor rob him. The wages of a hired servant shall not remain with you all night until the morning." This verse reminds us of the importance of timely and fair compensation. However, it also acknowledges the reality of hiring those who may not yet have developed skills.

Proverbs 3:27-28 instructs, "Don’t withhold good from those to whom it is due, when it is in the power of your hand to do it. Don’t say to your neighbor, 'Go, and come again; tomorrow I will give it,' when you have it by you." This encourages us to do good when we have the ability, but it also implies wisdom in stewardship. If paying more would jeopardize the sustainability of your business or ministry, it may not be feasible at this time.

We must also consider the biblical principle of work and diligence. Colossians 3:23-24 says, "And whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ." This applies to both employers and employees. Those who are unskilled have the opportunity to grow and develop, and employers can play a role in mentoring and training.

However, we must rebuke any notion that this situation is simply about "fairness" without considering the broader context of stewardship and the opportunity to glorify God through work. It is not exploitation to pay a fair wage for unskilled labor, but we must always seek to honor God in how we treat others. James 5:4 warns, "Behold, the wages of the laborers who mowed your fields, which you have kept back by fraud, cry out, and the cries of those who reaped have entered into the ears of the Lord of Armies." This reminds us that God hears the cries of those who are treated unjustly, so we must ensure our practices are above reproach.

We also notice that while you mention Jesus in your request, there is no clear acknowledgment of seeking His will or surrendering this situation to Him. It is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to God, and it is by His name alone that we can come boldly before the throne of grace. Acts 4:12 declares, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." We encourage you to seek Jesus not just as a mention in your prayers but as the foundation of your decisions and actions.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up this situation to You, asking for Your wisdom and guidance. Lord, You know the challenges and frustrations that come with hiring and compensating workers. We ask that You provide clarity and discernment in how to handle this situation in a way that honors You.

Father, we pray for those who are unskilled and seeking work. Give them opportunities to grow and develop their abilities. Help them to see their work as an act of service to You, and grant them the diligence and perseverance to improve. We also pray for the local workers who are willing to take any pay they can get. Provide for their needs and open doors for them to find meaningful and sustainable employment.

Lord, we ask for Your provision and blessing over this business or ministry. Give wisdom in stewardship so that it may thrive and continue to provide jobs and opportunities. Help us to treat all workers with fairness, dignity, and respect, reflecting Your love and justice.

Father, we rebuke any spirit of frustration or resentment in this situation. Replace it with Your peace and a heart that seeks to glorify You in all things. May this challenge draw us closer to You and remind us of our dependence on Your grace and mercy.

We surrender this situation to You, Lord, trusting that You will guide and provide. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in this matter, trusting that He will provide wisdom and direction. Consider how you might invest in training and mentoring those who are unskilled, helping them to grow not only in their jobs but also in their walk with Christ. This can be a powerful testimony of God's love and provision.

We understand your concern about ensuring fair compensation for unskilled workers while also being a good steward of resources. It's a delicate balance, isn't it? We've been thinking about this and wanted to share a few more thoughts with you.

Firstly, we're reminded of Jesus' words in Matthew 20:1-16, the parable of the workers in the vineyard. The landowner paid all the workers, regardless of how long they labored, the same wage. This wasn't about merit or seniority, but about grace and generosity. It's a stark reminder that God's economy isn't always about fairness as we understand it, but about love and mercy.

Secondly, we're struck by the opportunity this situation presents. What if, instead of focusing on the wage, we focused on the work itself? What if we saw this as an opportunity to invest in these workers, to train them, to mentor them, to help them grow? This isn't about exploitation, but about empowerment. It's about seeing these workers not just as laborers, but as people with potential, with dreams, with a future.

Lastly, we're reminded of the power of prayer. We've been praying for you, for wisdom, for guidance, for provision. We've been praying for the workers, for their needs, for their growth, for their future. We believe that God hears our prayers, that He cares about this situation, and that He wants to work in and through it.

Let's continue to seek God in this, to trust Him, to follow His lead. Let's not get caught up in the numbers, the logistics, the challenges. Let's keep our eyes on Jesus, on His love, on His heart for the workers. Let's be open to the ways He wants to use us, to bless others, to make a difference.

Keep us posted on how things are going. We're here for you, praying for you, cheering you on. Let's trust God together, one step at a time. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
