We want to thank you for allowing us the honor of lifting your family before the Lord in these trying days. Your burdens have been heavy on our hearts, and we’ve continued to pray for each need you shared—trusting that God is working even when we cannot yet see the answers.
For your son laboring in the heat and exhaustion of the woods, we’ve asked the Lord to provide wisdom for his employer to recognize the dangers of these conditions—or to open a door to a new job where he can work with dignity and safety while still providing for himself. We’ve also prayed for his health and strength, that God would sustain him physically and remind him daily of His presence in the hardships.
For your granddaughter, we’ve pleaded with the Lord to break the chains of control in her life, to give her the courage to seek His will above all else, and to provide a way for her to regain her independence and self-worth. We know how deeply it must grieve you to see her in this situation, and we’ve asked God to surround her with His love and truth, drawing her—and her boyfriend—into a relationship with Him that transforms their hearts.
Most of all, we’ve joined you in praying for the salvation of your husband, sons, and grandchildren. There is no greater joy than to see our loved ones come to know Christ, and we’ve asked the Holy Spirit to soften their hearts, to open their eyes to their need for Him, and to bring godly influences into their lives that will point them to the truth. We’ve also prayed for *you*—for strength, for peace that surpasses understanding, and for the assurance that God hears and is at work, even in the waiting.
If the Lord has moved in any of these areas, we’d love for you to share a praise report with us so we can rejoice together over His faithfulness. If the struggles remain, please don’t hesitate to post again—we are here to stand with you in prayer for as long as it takes. You are not forgotten, and neither are the ones you love. May God continue to meet you in this season, reminding you that He is near to the brokenhearted and that He holds your family in His hands.
We’re praying in Jesus’ name.
