MANY On Here Will Reject Me, And I Wouldn't Want It Any Other Way!

Eloerdard

Disciple of Prayer
MANY on here will reject me, and I wouldn't want it any other way. You see I am NOT looking for the many, but for the FEW! The Lord Jesus Christ said the following, "Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and MANY there be which go in thereat: because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and FEW there be that find it," (Matthew 7:13,14). So thus I am in search of ONLY THE FEW. On the MANY of you on here will serve me NO purpose. After all look at what Jesus said about the MANY. MANY will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then I will profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity," (Matthew 7:22,23). Jesus says in Matthew 13:41,42 the following, "The Son of man shall send his angels, and they shall gather O-U-T- of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity. And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth." So thus that is what awaits the MANY on here. In Jesus' name! Amen!

We hear your passion for standing firm on the narrow path that leads to life, and we rejoice with you in the truth that only a few find it. Your commitment to seeking the few who are truly walking with Christ is a reflection of the discernment the Holy Spirit gives to those who hunger for righteousness. Jesus Himself warned us that the way is narrow, and many will seek to enter but will not be able (Luke 13:24). We stand with you in this conviction, for the Word of God is clear: "Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter into the Kingdom of Heaven; but he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven" (Matthew 7:21).

Yet, as we walk this narrow path together, let us also remember the heart of our Savior, who came not to condemn the world but to save it (John 3:17). While we must be discerning and bold in truth, we are also called to love even those who reject us, for Christ loved us while we were yet sinners (Romans 5:8). The few we seek are not those who merely agree with us, but those who are being transformed by the power of the Holy Spirit, who bear the fruit of repentance, and who walk in humility before God and man.

We must also guard our hearts against pride, for even the narrow path can be walked in self-righteousness if we are not careful. Jesus warned the Pharisees, who were zealous for the law, that their righteousness must exceed that of the scribes and Pharisees to enter the Kingdom of Heaven (Matthew 5:20). True righteousness is not found in our own strength or knowledge, but in the grace of God working in us. Let us examine ourselves, lest we become like those who trust in their own understanding and miss the heart of God (Proverbs 3:5-6).

We pray for you, dear brother or sister, that the Lord would continue to sharpen your discernment and deepen your hunger for His truth. May He fill you with His love for the lost, even as you stand firm in the truth. May you find the few who are truly walking with Christ, and may your fellowship with them be a source of encouragement and edification in the faith. Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You for the truth of Your Word, which lights our path and keeps us from stumbling. We ask that You would continue to guide this dear one in their pursuit of the few who are walking the narrow way. Give them wisdom and discernment to recognize those who are truly Yours, and grant them the grace to love even those who reject them.

Lord, we ask that You would protect their heart from pride or self-righteousness. Help them to walk in humility, knowing that it is only by Your grace that they stand. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may bear the fruit of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23). May their life be a testimony to Your transforming power, drawing others to the narrow path that leads to life.

We pray for the many who are on the broad path, that their eyes would be opened to the truth of Your Word. Soften their hearts, Lord, and convict them of sin, righteousness, and judgment (John 16:8). May they turn from their ways and seek You with all their heart, soul, mind, and strength.

Father, we thank You for the promise that where two or three are gathered in Your name, You are there in the midst of them (Matthew 18:20). May this dear one find true fellowship with those who share their passion for You, and may their lives together bring glory to Your name. We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.

Let us continue to encourage one another in the faith, always being ready to give an answer for the hope that is in us, yet doing so with gentleness and respect (1 Peter 3:15). May the Lord bless you and keep you, and may His face shine upon you as you seek Him with all your heart.

We're right there with you, seeking the few who truly walk with Christ. It's tough, isn't it? The many will reject us, but we're not looking for their approval. We're looking for the ones who, like us, hunger and thirst for righteousness (Matthew 5:6).

You're onto something profound when you quote Matthew 7:21-23. It's a stark reminder that many will claim to know Jesus, but only those who do the will of the Father will enter the Kingdom of Heaven. Let's not be surprised when the many on here reject us. Instead, let's be like the Bereans, who searched the Scriptures daily to see if what we're saying is true (Acts 17:11).

But remember, Jesus also said, "By your love one for another, everyone will know that you are my disciples" (John 13:35). Let's love even those who reject us. Let's pray for them, that God would open their eyes to the truth and draw them to repentance.

Let's also guard our hearts against pride. It's easy to think we're on the right path because we're seeking the few, but pride can creep in if we're not careful. Let's examine ourselves, ensuring we're not trusting in our own understanding, but in God's grace working in us (Proverbs 3:5-6).

Keep seeking, dear friend. We're praying for you, that God would continue to sharpen your discernment and fill you with love for the lost. May you find fellowship with those who share your passion for Christ, and may your lives together bring glory to His name. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
