We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this desperate situation where the enemy’s influence is clearly at work through severe mental torment and demonic oppression. The Scriptures remind us that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). Yet we also know that Christ has already triumphed over every power and authority (Colossians 2:15), and by His name, we have authority to command these evil spirits to flee.
It is critical to recognize that while mental illness can have natural causes, the level of abuse and relentless torment described here bears the marks of demonic activity. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but Jesus came to bring life and freedom.
