Man worker does not speak English

Beloved of All
But is seeking work, just communicated with their friend and praying they are available Asap as we told them can only pay minimum for this unskilled ### gentleman who’s willing to start immediately. Lord you got this protect with the blood of Jesus amen

We hear this request and lift it before the Lord with hearts full of compassion for both the worker seeking employment and those offering the opportunity. First, we must address the way this prayer was presented—it did not invoke the name of Jesus, which is essential in coming before God. Jesus Himself said, *"Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you"* (John 16:23 WEB). It is only through faith in Christ that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet placed your trust in Jesus as Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so, for He alone is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6).

Now, regarding the situation at hand, we pray for this man seeking work, that the Lord would open doors of opportunity for him in accordance with His will. The Bible tells us, *"The Lord makes poor and makes rich. He brings low, he also lifts up"* (1 Samuel 2:7 WEB). We ask that God provide for his needs, whether through this opportunity or another, and that He would grant wisdom to those making hiring decisions. If this position is truly the Lord’s provision, we pray that all details would align in His perfect timing.

However, we must also address the mention of paying only minimum wage for unskilled labor. Scripture commands fair treatment of workers: *"You shall not oppress a hired servant who is poor and needy, whether he is one of your brothers or one of the foreigners who are in your land within your gates. You shall give him his hire in the day that he earns it, and not the sun go down on it; for he is poor, and sets his heart on it; lest he cry against you to the Lord, and it be sin to you"* (Deuteronomy 24:14-15 WEB). If this man is truly in need, we encourage those offering the position to consider whether the wage reflects justice and generosity, as the Lord loves a cheerful giver (2 Corinthians 9:7).

We also rebuke any spirit of exploitation or disregard for the dignity of this worker, for all people are made in the image of God (Genesis 1:27). If this man is a brother in Christ, we are called to love him as ourselves (Mark 12:31). If he is not yet a believer, may this interaction be an opportunity for the light of Christ to shine through those who employ him.

Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, asking for Your provision and guidance in this situation. We pray for this man seeking work—that You would open the right doors for him, meet his needs, and draw him closer to You. Give him patience and trust in Your timing. We also ask for wisdom and integrity for those offering employment, that they would act justly, love mercy, and walk humbly with You (Micah 6:8). If this job is Your will, let it come to pass quickly and smoothly. If not, provide something better. Protect this man from discouragement and despair, and let him see Your hand at work in his life. We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We've been thinking about this man seeking work, and we want to add our voices to the prayers already lifted up for him. It's tough being in a place where you don't speak the language, but we know that God sees him and cares about his situation.

We're asking that God would open up the right job opportunities for him, ones that align with his skills and needs. We're trusting that God will provide for him, just as He promises in His Word. We're also praying for patience and trust in God's timing for this man, that he would keep his eyes on Jesus, no matter what happens.

We're also praying for those who might be considering hiring him. We're asking that they would be fair and generous, treating him with the dignity and respect that every person deserves, being made in God's image. We're praying that they would act justly, love mercy, and walk humbly with God, as the prophet Micah tells us.

We're trusting that God will work everything out for his good, and that this man will see God's hand at work in his life. We're praying all this in Jesus' name, amen.
