Disciple of Prayer
Heavenly Father, our Healer and Holy Spirit, we come to You right now and pray for ### who is in his need for healing. We know You have him in Your sweet and loving hands and You know the plans for him. ### my sister and his wife is calling on You, Lord for Your complete healing for her husband.

### doctors found a lump on his right side of his throat. The biopsy came back malignant.

Of course you know what those words can do to you at the moment and the after affect.

The test that they ran were to determine if it had spread to the lymph notes.

Thank God it didn’t. It also determined that it was contained to that area. And that the probably of it being completely being cured high. But he will need extensive radiation.

It will be at least ### x a week.

Please give the radiologists wisdom, discernment and knowledge to know the next steps to have him healed completely. We give it all over to You and that You would get all the glory. In Jesus' precious name we pray. Amen

We join you right now in lifting up your sister's husband before our Father, our Healer, and we thank you for sharing this burden with us so we can stand together in prayer.

We know how heavy the word malignant can feel and how the waiting and the test results can shake a family, and we praise God with you that the tests showed it has not spread to the lymph nodes and that it is contained to that area with a high probability of being completely cured. That is mercy from the Lord, and we give Him thanks for that good report. We also understand the road ahead with extensive radiation several times a week will be demanding on his body and spirit, and on your sister and the whole family as you walk beside him.

We are reminded of what Scripture tells us about our God who heals. Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don't forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases, Psalm 103:2-3. And the Lord says But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh, Jeremiah 30:17. For we know I am Yahweh who heals you, Exodus 15:26. We cling to His promise Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness, Isaiah 41:10. And we remember that the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up, James 5:15.

We pray together now.

Father in heaven, we come before Your throne of grace in the precious name of Jesus, and we lift up this dear husband, brother and loved one to You. Lord, You know him by name, You formed his body and You hold his life in Your sweet and loving hands, and Your plans for him are for peace and not for evil to give him hope, Jeremiah 29:11. We thank You that You have allowed the cancer to be contained and not spread, and we ask now for Your complete healing to be manifested in his throat. Lay Your healing hand upon that area, Lord, and let every malignant cell be removed and destroyed. We pray that the radiation will be effective and targeted, that it will accomplish its purpose without unnecessary harm, and that You will sustain his body, his throat, his strength and his spirit through each treatment. Give the radiologists and all the doctors and nurses wisdom, discernment and knowledge, as You promise to give wisdom generously to those who ask, James 1:5. Guide their hands and minds in every decision and next step. Grant peace that surpasses all understanding to his wife, his family and all who love him, Philippians 4:6-7, and let them feel Your presence and comfort in the waiting and in the treatment days. Restore his health fully, Lord, so that he may testify of Your goodness and that You would get all the glory for his healing. We trust Your will and Your mercy, and we ask this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, by whom alone we have access to You and by whose wounds we are healed, Isaiah 53:5. Amen.

We encourage you and your sister to keep resting in the Lord through this season, to bring every fear and need to Him in prayer, to lean on the body of Christ for support, and to speak His promises over this dear one daily. We will continue to contend for his complete healing and for strength for your sister as she cares for her husband, trusting that the Lord who has begun this good work of containing this disease will be faithful to complete it.

We were so moved by your prayer for your brother-in-law and for your sister as she stands beside him. Hearing the word malignant takes your breath away, and we can imagine how heavy these weeks of waiting for the biopsy and the lymph node tests have felt for all of you.

It is a mercy to hear the cancer appears contained and that the doctors are hopeful about treatment. At the same time, knowing he faces extensive radiation several times a week is a lot to carry, physically and emotionally, for him and for your sister.

Thank you for standing in the gap for them and giving this into the Lord's hands for His glory. We are joining you in that.

If you are able to be close by during treatment, one steady way to help is to ease the logistical load. Going with them to take notes, keeping a simple list of questions or side effects to bring to the oncology team, and helping coordinate meals or rides for those treatment days can lift a real burden. Encourage them to keep bringing every concern to their doctors and nurses who know his case best, while we keep bringing them to the Lord in prayer.

Father, we lift this dear husband to You and ask for Your nearness to him through each radiation session. Give his radiologists and care team wisdom and discernment in every next step, grant him strength for the days ahead, and pour out peace and rest on his wife as she loves and supports him. Hold this whole family in Your loving hands. In Jesus' precious name we pray, amen.

We are praying with you all fir a complete total healing. Only let us give all worship and prayer to God and our hearts be changed to have a heart for God. To praise him and toneorship all the days of our lives. In Lord Yeshuas name we pray amen.

We have heard your prayer and we join our hearts with yours before the throne of grace on behalf of this dear brother and his wife your sister who watches over him in love.

The word malignant is indeed heavy to bear and it is no wonder that fear presses upon the soul when such tidings come. Yet the Lord Himself speaks to His people in such an hour, Fear not, for I am with you. Be not dismayed, for I am your God. It is Jesus Himself who whispers to His poor servant fallen as dead at His feet, Fear not. To be afraid in such a case is not only weakening but it dishonors the God who has promised, I will help you. Though you feel as a worm Jacob before this trial, His promise stands, I will help you, says the Lord.

You have thanked God that the disease has not spread and has been found contained, and that the hope of a cure is high. For this mercy we also give thanks, and we pray that the Great Physician who is above all physicians will guide the hands and minds of those to whom this care is entrusted. We entreat the Lord to give the radiologists wisdom and discernment and knowledge, that every step taken may be ordered aright and made effectual. We pray that the Sun of Righteousness may arise upon him with healing in His wings, for with our Lord both pardon and healing are one, and the very leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations.

We remember also the promise, You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You. Perfect peace is not found in the absence of trouble but in the presence of Christ whose blood whispers peace within. Though duties press and sorrows surge round, though the shadow of death draws near to us and ours, Jesus has vanquished death and all its powers. To do the will of Jesus, this is rest. To trust Him while yet sinking is to find that you shall swim. You must start on your walk before you feel the healing, but as you go you shall feel it, for they that trust in Him shall not be ashamed nor confounded.

So we pray, our Father, that You would keep this brother and his wife in that perfect peace which passes all understanding. Let their minds be stayed upon You. Grant complete healing according to Your perfect will, ease the burden of the many treatments that lie before him, and sustain his body and spirit through each one. Let Your presence be his comfort by day and by night, and let all that is done redound to Your glory alone. If it be Your will, restore him to full health and strength, and in all things speak pardon and peace to his soul through Jesus Christ our Lord, in whose precious name we pray. Amen.
