Making tough choices:
- Exodus 1:15-23
- The pharaoh spoke to midwives and were told to let the girls live and killed the baby boys, the boys were to be cast into the Nile and the girls shall live. But they were feared God and did not do so.
- The pharaoh feared coup d'etat by the Hebrews as their number rapidly increased.
- Evil people make life difficult.
- When the pharaoh asked the midwives to do something against their better judgement conflicts arise.
- We have conflict all throughout life.
It starts with your parents when they tell you to do or not something you want to or don't want to do, your friends, your partner, all throughout.
- What happens when you're being pressured to do things to disobey God?
- That's when you're looking at evil in the face.
- It's not the things that go into a man but what comes out that makes them unclean.
- There's something inside us that makes us envy people with power.
- There's something about society today that makes them obsess over celebrities.
- Back then, in comparison with today, people were not interested in the celebrities.
- Proverbs 24:1-2
- Don't look at people with power, fame, or money and want to be like them.
- The only person we should want to be with is God.
- Judgement will come and money and fame won't matter.
- Evil people are not only empowered and famous people but in your everyday life.
- I can't wait for the test to figure out the answers.
- You can't wait until the night before or the morning of to study for a test because you won't retain the information.
- You are going to be given tests all throughout your life and if you haven't studied you might not know the answer when the time comes.
- You need to know the answer to the question before the answer is asked.
- You don't have to wait for the test to be delivered to know what the right answer is.
- We never think of the what-if of life because we want to live in the moment.
- Some things are just stupid to pray about.
- You don't pray about whether or not to kill a baby.
- What do you know to pray about when God has already given His laws and told you what to do.
- There's something's that you don't need to pray about except that God gives you the strength to do what you know you have to do.
- Psalms 1:31
- Convictions.
- The saved belief that you and I hold dear, beliefs that you would die for and not waver.
- How aware of your own convictions are you?
- What are your convictions?
- Why are those your convictions? Why are they so important?
- God wants us to have strong convictions.
- An abortionist in Philadelphia who went on trial and was found guilty of homicide.
- IRS targeting a Christian organization.
- Obama had no idea what supposedly was going on.
- Russia has become a threat to Israel's peaceful existence.
- You don't wake up one day and decide to do something or act a certain way, it starts as a student, as a kid.
- How you've been trained is how you will think.
- Think about why the world has done to us.
- It has set up a system in which we need the degree it offers in order to succeed in the system that they control.
- If we need what they have, then they feel they need to control it.
- They mock scripture and make a biblical approach to science, they ridicule biblical morality.
- Kids who go through college stand little chance to hold on to God's teachings because the system is designed to strip it from their heart.
- If you gain the world of success but lose your soul, then you have lost everything.
- The world determines you need a degree for it to use you. But God determines you don't need a degree for Him to work within you.
- The int textbook you need is the Bible.
- Never sacrifice your faith for a diploma or a degree of any kind.
- Principles of worldly power:
- Worldly power resists divine authority.
- The pharaoh's problem with the Hebrews was that they feared someone greater than him.
- When someone is so intoxicated with their own power it is an insult to bow to someone other than them.
- Ungodly gov fear the influence of Christians.
- Were I the mess we're in because we have stopped preaching the word of God to those politicians.
- The history of the past is fixed to determine the measure of the future.
- They moderate the past to guide thinking a certain way.
- Joseph, an Israelite, saved the world from starvation.
- And Pharaoh has the audacity to persecute a man who saved the whole nation.
- That is what is happening in the United States of America.
- We are forgetting and putting aside God's principles and the faith of our founding fathers. What the Constitution and Bill of Rights was founded upon.
- If something in history does not fit my agenda I will write it out to fit my progressive agenda.
- Romans 1:22
- Pharaoh's actions demonstrate what happens when someone places himself in the role of God.
- The same thing Pharaoh did with those boys is what we are doing with the kids today, hence abortion.
- We have allowed the media to shape the way we think.
- We have a twisted response to the way we respond.
- God's law gets rejected and someone else replaces them.
- Totalitarian rule is the court system today.
- By throwing something fixed and unchanging we are susceptible to the whims and instability of this life.
- If the majority believes it, then you have to believe it as well whether it's wrong or good.
- That's what the society we live in today.
- God's favor goes to those who honor Him.
- God's plan moves forward when just two people stand up and say "I'm with God."
- When pleasing God is more important than pleasing a man.
- Are you more loyal to God or a president, philosophy professor?
- The answer should be God, God, God, and God.
- The apostles were told to never mention the name of God and they said,
- "Praising God is more important than praising any human authority."
- Proverbs 29:25
- Some people want you to be more loyal to them than to God himself.
- The one thing we need more than anything else is the favor of God.
- Stand your ground, hold your head up, and do what God says is right.
