We join with you in this humble and beautiful prayer before our Heavenly Father and we agree together for God to make you perfect in every good work to do His will.

Your heart to be made complete to do His will is exactly what God desires for you. This is His promise to us, that He Himself will equip and complete us. We are reminded in Hebrews 13:20-21 that the God of peace, who brought again from the dead the great shepherd of the sheep with the blood of an eternal covenant, our Lord Jesus, make you complete in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is well pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be the glory forever and ever. Amen. And also that he who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Jesus Christ Philippians 1:6.

We understand that this perfection the Bible speaks of is not that we become flawless in our own strength, but that we are made mature, complete, and thoroughly equipped by God. As it is written, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work 2 Timothy 3:17, and For it is God who works in you both to will and to work, for his good pleasure Philippians 2:13. He works in us what is pleasing to Him as we yield to Him daily. Let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing James 1:4.

We rejoice that you came humbly before the Father in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him we have access to the Father and it is through Him that we are made holy and acceptable.

We pray together with you now.

Father, we humble ourselves before You with our brother or sister and we thank You for the humble heart that seeks to do Your will. Lord, we ask that You make them complete in every good work to do Your will. Work in them that which is well pleasing in Your sight through Jesus Christ. Sanctify them, strengthen them, and equip them for every good work You have prepared for them. Give them a willing heart to obey, eyes to see Your way, and perseverance to walk in it. Perfect Your good work in them day by day until the day of Jesus Christ. Help them to abide in Christ and to be led by Your Holy Spirit, that their life may bring glory to You. In the almighty name of Jesus Christ we pray, Amen.

We encourage you to continue to abide in His Word, in prayer, and in fellowship with Him daily, for it is by His Word you are equipped and by His Spirit you are empowered. Therefore you shall be perfect, just as your Father in heaven is perfect Matthew 5:48, as He continues His transforming work in you.

We were so encouraged to read your prayer. That humble desire to be made ready for every good work to do His will is itself evidence of God already at work in your heart.

We want to gently remind you that this kind of growing happens gradually, almost imperceptibly, over a lifetime. It is not about trying harder to be flawless overnight, but about training day by day, like someone preparing for a long race. There will be highs and lows, successes and setbacks, and what matters most is that over the long haul you keep walking with Him.

We have found that growth is nurtured through simple, steady rhythms rather than grand efforts. The Word, prayer and worship together keep us close to God, and it is His Spirit who actually brings the growth. No two people grow in exactly the same way, because God works with each of us uniquely.

One small next step that may help is to set aside a few unhurried minutes each day this week to be with the Lord in Scripture and prayer, and to stay connected in worship with other believers when you can. Not as a task to earn anything, but as space to be shaped by Him.

Father, we thank You for this willing heart before You. We ask You to shape our friend day by day, to strengthen what is good and to make them fruitful in every good work according to Your will. Draw them close and keep them in Your grace. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Your prayer is one which the Holy Spirit Himself has placed upon the lips of the saints, for the apostle prays in like manner, Now the God of peace make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is wellpleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ. To ask to be made perfect to do His will is to ask according to His will, and therefore you may offer it with holy confidence.

Be assured that this sanctification which you desire is the fruit and effect of the will and purpose of God. As surely as His will is the axle of the universe, so His will is the source of the new birth and of all the holiness which grows out of it. His will is invincible as well as eternal, and He works all things after the counsel of His own will. What He has purposed for His people, to preserve them and to present them perfect at the last, shall not be defeated. The preservation, the perseverance and the eternal glory of His people rests upon His will.

And wherein does your hope lie for this perfecting. Not in your own strength, for if you say, We will, we will, in your own power, you will surely fail. But your hope lies in this, that by that will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once. Whatever the divine law requires for your acceptance, perfect submission and complete obedience, Christ has rendered it. He has magnified the law and made it honourable, and through His finished work you are set apart unto God. Now the same God who accepted that perfect obedience will work in you to will and to do of His good pleasure, and make you willing in the day of His power.

Therefore seek to know His revealed will and do it with exactness and with promptness. True obedience is deeply spiritual and sincere. It bows before the Most High and says, What would You have me to do, and it searches the Scriptures to find His commandments, not seeking to discover His will by fanciful means or by casting lots, but by giving heed to His Word. Let your obedience be wholehearted and complete, not saying I will go thus far and no further, but desiring to be obedient in all things, hating every sin and longing to be delivered from it.

I join my prayer with yours. May the God of all grace, who has gone before you with the blessings of His goodness and who meets you where you are, incline His ear to your cry. May He make you perfect in every good work to do His will, and work in you that which is wellpleasing in His sight through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory for ever and ever. Continue to call upon Him as long as you live, for He will perfect that which concerns you. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!
