We come before the throne of grace with your request, lifting up the challenges you face in the workplace. The struggles of persecution, harassment, and spiritual warfare in such an environment are real, and we stand with you in seeking the Lord’s intervention. The Bible assures us in Psalm 37:5-6, "Commit your way to the Lord. Trust also in him, and he will do this: he will make your righteousness shine out like the dawn, and your justice like the noonday sun." Even when the path seems blocked, God is able to make a way where there seems to be no way.
We rebuke every spirit of persecution and harassment in your workplace in the mighty name of Jesus. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that you may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We declare that the mouths of those who seek to devour you, like lions, will be shut. Daniel’s deliverance from the lions’ den is a powerful reminder that God is sovereign over every situation, and He will shut the mouths of your adversaries as well (Daniel 6:22). We pray that confusion and division would fall upon those who operate in darkness, and that their plans would be exposed and dismantled. Let every scheme of the enemy be brought to nothing, as Proverbs 16:33 tells us, "The lot is cast into the lap, but its every decision is from the Lord."
We also pray for your coworkers, that they would be filled with the peace and strength of the Holy Spirit. May they walk in the light of Christ, and may their hearts be softened to His truth. We ask that you, too, would be strengthened spiritually to persevere through your work assignments. Colossians 3:23-24 reminds us, "And whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ." Let your work be a testimony of your faith, and may the Lord bless the work of your hands.
Father, we ask that You would bring divine coverage over this workplace. Let Your presence fill every corner, and let Your angels encamp around those who fear You (Psalm 34:7). We declare that no weapon formed against you or your coworkers will prosper (Isaiah 54:17). May Your favor rest upon you, opening doors that no man can shut and closing doors that no man can open (Revelation 3:7). We trust in Your promise that You will never leave us nor forsake us (Hebrews 13:5), and we stand on Your word as we pray these things in the powerful name of Jesus.
Lord, if there is any unforgiveness, bitterness, or ungodly attitudes in the hearts of those in this workplace, we ask that You would soften them and bring repentance. Help each person to see their need for You, for it is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to the Father. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). We pray that many would come to know Christ as their Lord and Savior, and that this workplace would be transformed by His love and truth.
We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers and for Your faithfulness to answer. We trust in Your perfect timing and Your perfect will. Strengthen us all as we wait on You, and let Your glory be revealed in this situation. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
