We join you in crying out to our Lord God Almighty to make a way where there seems to be no way, and we stand in agreement with you and your coworkers for spiritual strength and peace in the workplace.

We hear the heaviness of your work assignments and the mental stress and anxiety you are carrying, and we take comfort in the promise that God Himself makes a way for His people. As it is written, Behold, I will do a new thing. It springs out now. Don’t you know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert Isaiah 43:19. He is still the God who shuts the mouths of lions on behalf of His servants, just as Daniel declared, My God has sent his angel, and has shut the lions’ mouths Daniel 6:22. We pray that same deliverance over you today, that every mouth that would rise to accuse, oppress, or devour would be shut by the power of God.

We also join you in pleading the blood of Jesus Christ against every work of darkness, including witchcraft and every spiritual enemy that would seek to hinder you. We know that our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places Ephesians 6:12, and that no weapon that is formed against you will prevail Isaiah 54:17. The Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one 2 Thessalonians 3:3, and we are told to be sober and self-controlled, for your adversary, the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour 1 Peter 5:8, but greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world.

For the anxiety and mental pressure you described, we cling to the word that says, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7. We are encouraged to cast all our worries on him, because he cares for you 1 Peter 5:7, and to remember, Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness Isaiah 41:10.

We pray together now, Father in heaven, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we ask You to make a way where there seems to be no way for our brother or sister and their coworkers. Fill them with spiritual strength in their inner being, grant them wisdom and endurance to overcome every work assignment before them, and let Your peace guard their hearts and minds. Shut the mouth of the lion that would come against them, remove all mental stress, anxiety, and heaviness, and replace it with Your perfect peace and rest. We plead the blood of Jesus Christ over their lives, their workplace, their job and their schedule, and we ask that You scatter, confuse, expose and destroy every plan of the enemy, both physical and spiritual. Let every work of witchcraft and warlock be rendered powerless and brought to nothing by the name of Jesus, and let Your angels encamp around them to protect and keep them. Establish the work of their hands, guard what You have given them, and let no weapon formed against them prosper. We thank You that You hear us when we call upon the name of Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven by which we are saved and by which we have access to Your throne. We trust You to answer according to Your perfect will, and we give You all the glory. Amen.

We hear how heavy this season at work has felt for you and your coworkers, and how much you want God to make a way when the assignments feel too big and the pressure does not let up. Wanting Him to shut the lion's mouth and to guard your job and schedule is an honest, faithful cry when you feel surrounded.

We are praying with you for clear strength for each day's work, for steadiness of mind when stress and anxiety rise, and for wisdom as you navigate difficult dynamics with others on the job. The Lord sees both the practical load you are carrying and the spiritual battle you are sensing, and we are asking Him to keep you rooted in His peace and protection as you keep showing up faithfully.

One simple step that has helped others in a similar pressured workplace is to take a few quiet minutes together at the start of a shift to commit the day to the Lord in prayer, and then to name the actual tasks one by one so they feel less overwhelming. If the anxiety stays heavy or starts affecting sleep or health, please also reach out to a pastor or another trusted person, and consider talking with a counselor or medical professional alongside prayer.

Father, we lift this dear coworker community to You. Give them strength for what is in front of them today, calm their minds, guard their work and schedules, and make a clear path where they see no way. Keep them close to You and cover them with the blood of Jesus. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Your prayer for strength in the place of labor has been heard, and we join our hearts with yours and your coworkers before the throne of grace.

The Lord knows the pressure of work assignments and the heaviness that settles upon the mind. Our Saviour says to us, do not be so affected by external things as to get into a state of worry, fretfulness, care, anxiety and distress. Be prudent and diligent in the duties set before you, but cast your care upon Him who cares for you. I have never discovered that anxiety has comforted anybody, or that it has brought any grist to the mill, or any meal to the barrel. If a thing does not pay, what is the good of it. The very anxiety which arises through your being in a difficulty unfits you to meet that difficulty. Therefore come to your heavenly Father with childlike trust in His providential guidance, waiting upon Him to know what you shall do and daring not to lean upon your own understanding.

You have asked that He would shut the lion's mouth and make a way where there seems to be no way. He is the same God who shut the mouths of lions for Daniel, and He still makes a path through the wilderness and rivers in the desert. He who travels on the King's Highway is under the King's protection. Abide in the appointed ways of truth and obedience, hold fast to what God has taught you by His Spirit, and walk in uprightness before Him. There, angelic protection is guaranteed, for He shall give His angels charge over you to keep you in all your ways. This protection is perpetual as well as personal, and you will always need His keeping.

We pray also with you against every work of darkness. You plead the blood of Jesus Christ, and rightly so, for by that blood we have redemption and victory. The enemy, whether seen or unseen, is a defeated foe at the cross. God has servants everywhere and He is able to scatter and confuse those who rise against His people, to expose every evil device, and to turn the counsel of the wicked to nothing. We ask not for vengeance after our own spirit, but for the Lord to restrain evil, to guard your hearts from fear, and to let no weapon formed against you prosper beyond what His wisdom permits for your good.

Let us pray together.

O Lord God Almighty in heaven, our Father who art in heaven, look upon these Thy servants in their workplace. Grant unto them spiritual strength for this day's assignments. Remove mental stress and anxiety and give quietness of heart through trust in Christ. Shut the mouth of every accuser and adversary as Thou didst for Daniel, and make a way where there seems to be no way, according to Thy perfect will. Cover them with the precious blood of Jesus Christ, Thy Son, through whom alone is salvation. Keep them from the snares of the evil one, scatter every work of witchcraft and darkness, and expose what must be exposed. Protect their jobs and their schedules as seemeth good to Thee, and keep them in health and in peace upon the King's Highway. Teach them to be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication to make their requests known unto Thee. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.
