Good and Faithful Servant
A mayday protest against government policies was officiated yesterday because of the neglect and abuse towards locals while favoring foreigners and the government is governing in sin as it seeks to replace locals with foreigners. And denies locals of good jobs with massive unemployment yet deceives the citizens that the country's economy is doing well but actually the country's companies are closing like domino.

We hear your deep frustration and concern for the well-being of your nation and its people. The Bible calls us to pray for our leaders and to seek justice, righteousness, and truth in governance. It is right to be grieved when a government fails to uphold these principles, especially when it leads to suffering, neglect, and deception among its citizens. Scripture tells us in **Proverbs 29:2**, *"When the righteous thrive, the people rejoice; when the wicked rule, the people groan."* It is clear that when leaders govern in sin, the people suffer, and this is a matter that must be brought before the Lord in prayer.

We must also remember that God is sovereign over all nations and rulers. **Daniel 2:21** says, *"He changes the times and the seasons; He removes kings and sets up kings; He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to those who have understanding."* Even when earthly governments act unjustly, God remains in control, and He calls us to intercede on behalf of our nations. **1 Timothy 2:1-2** urges us, *"I exhort therefore, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and givings of thanks be made for all men: for kings and all who are in high places, that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence."*

However, we must also examine our own hearts and motives in this matter. While it is right to stand against injustice, we must ensure that our response is not rooted in anger, bitterness, or prejudice. **James 1:20** warns us, *"For the anger of man doesn’t produce the righteousness of God."* If there is any spirit of division, resentment, or partiality in our hearts—whether toward leaders, foreigners, or fellow citizens—we must repent of it. God does not show favoritism (**Acts 10:34**), and neither should we. Instead, we are called to love our neighbors as ourselves (**Mark 12:31**) and to seek justice with humility and truth.

We must also be cautious not to place our ultimate hope in earthly governments or political movements. Our trust must be in the Lord alone, for **Psalm 146:3-5** says, *"Don’t put your trust in princes, each a son of man in whom there is no help. His spirit departs, and he returns to the earth. In that very day, his thoughts perish. Happy is he who has the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in Yahweh his God."* While we advocate for righteous leadership, we must remember that true change comes from the transformation of hearts through the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Let us now come before the Lord in prayer, lifting up your nation, its leaders, and its people:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, grieved by the injustices and suffering in our land. We lift up our nation to You, asking for Your mercy and intervention. Lord, we pray for our leaders—that You would grant them wisdom, humility, and a heart for justice. Convict them of any sin, deception, or partiality in their governance, and turn their hearts toward righteousness. **Proverbs 16:12** says, *"It is an abomination for kings to do wrong, for the throne is established by righteousness."* Father, establish righteousness in our government and expose any corruption or deceit.

We pray for the people of our nation, Lord. Where there is unemployment, financial struggle, and despair, bring Your provision and hope. **Jeremiah 29:11** reminds us, *"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you,” says Yahweh, “thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future."* Restore dignity, opportunity, and stability to Your people. Heal the divisions among us, Lord, and help us to love one another as You have loved us.

We also pray for those who may be foreigners in our land. While we stand against unjust policies, we ask that You would help us to extend grace, compassion, and fairness to all who dwell among us. **Leviticus 19:33-34** says, *"If a stranger lives as a foreigner with you in your land, you shall not do him wrong. The stranger who lives as a foreigner with you shall be to you as the native-born among you, and you shall love him as yourself; for you lived as foreigners in the land of Egypt. I am Yahweh your God."* May we reflect Your heart in how we treat others, regardless of their origin.

Father, we repent of any anger, bitterness, or prejudice in our own hearts. Cleanse us and fill us with Your love and wisdom. Help us to be peacemakers and advocates for truth, standing firm in Your Word while extending grace to others. **Micah 6:8** says, *"He has shown you, O man, what is good. What does Yahweh require of you, but to act justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God?"* May we live this out in our daily lives.

Finally, Lord, we declare that our hope is in You alone. You are the King of kings and Lord of lords, and no government or policy can thwart Your purposes. **Psalm 33:10-12** says, *"Yahweh brings the counsel of the nations to nothing. He makes the thoughts of the peoples to be of no effect. The counsel of Yahweh stands fast forever, the thoughts of his heart to all generations. Blessed is the nation whose God is Yahweh, the people whom he has chosen for his own inheritance."* May our nation turn to You, seek Your face, and walk in Your ways.

We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can approach You and the only name by which we can be saved (**Acts 4:12**). It is through His sacrifice on the cross that we have access to You, and it is by His blood that we are forgiven and made new. May Your will be done in our nation, and may Your kingdom come on earth as it is in heaven. Amen.

We stand with you in prayer for your nation, dear friend. The weight of injustice and suffering can be overwhelming, but we find comfort in knowing that God sees and cares. Let's lift our voices together, asking for His mercy and intervention.

Heavenly Father, we cry out to You for our nation. We're grieved by the neglect and abuse of locals, the favoritism shown to foreigners, and the deceit that's causing unemployment and closing companies. Lord, we ask for Your mercy on our leaders. Convict their hearts, expose any corruption, and turn them towards righteousness. Help them to govern justly, fairly, and with humility.

We pray for our fellow citizens, Lord. Where there's unemployment, financial struggle, and despair, bring Your provision and hope. Restore dignity, opportunity, and stability to Your people. Heal the divisions among us, and help us to love one another as You've loved us.

We also pray for those who are foreigners in our land. While we stand against unjust policies, help us to extend grace, compassion, and fairness to all who dwell among us. Let us reflect Your heart in how we treat others, regardless of their origin.
