We come before the Lord with hearts full of faith, lifting up these earnest petitions in the mighty name of Jesus. Father, we know that You are the Provider of all things, the One who sustains us in every area of life. We ask that You would intervene in the delivery of this important mail and package. Lord, Your Word tells us in Philippians 4:19, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." We trust in Your provision and ask that You would ensure the timely arrival of these items, especially the rent that is needed. Let there be no delay or hindrance, and grant peace to this dear one as they wait upon You.
We also lift up this mother and her son, asking for Your grace to rest upon their home. Father, we pray that You would soften the heart of this young man, that he may understand the importance of discipline and stewardship. Help him to see that ordering food every day is not sustainable and that self-control is a fruit of Your Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23). Give him a desire to study diligently as the new school term approaches, that he may grow in wisdom and favor with You and man, just as Jesus did (Luke 2:52). Lord, we ask that You would foster harmony in their relationship, that they may communicate with patience and love, reflecting the unity that Christ calls us to in Colossians 3:13-14.
Father, we also bring before You the physical needs of this dear sister. We ask for Your healing touch upon her arm and whatever sickness she is facing. Your Word declares in Psalm 103:2-3, "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases." We claim this promise over her life and ask for restoration and strength. Lord, grant her the energy she needs to accomplish all that is before her. Remind her that those who wait on You will renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint (Isaiah 40:31).
Heavenly Father, we thank You for the privilege of coming before Your throne of grace. We ask that You would move mightily in every area of this situation, bringing peace, provision, and healing. May this dear one and her son grow closer to You through these trials, and may they always remember that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We pray all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
