My hearing is not what it should be in the last few months. They say that I now need a hearing aid. Please ask the Lord God to restore my hearing. ###.

We join you in bringing this need before the Lord and we lift up your hearing before Him together in Jesus' name.
We understand how distressing it is when hearing fades, and how much it affects daily life and fellowship with others. We pray that the Lord who made the ear would touch and restore what has been diminished. The scriptures remind us of His power and compassion, He who planted the ear, won't He hear, He who formed the eye, won't He see, Psalm 94:9. We are also reminded that our God is the Lord who heals us, Exodus 15:26, and who forgives all our iniquities and heals all our diseases, Psalm 103:3. The prophet speaks of the day when the eyes of the blind will be opened and the ears of the deaf will be unstopped, Isaiah 35:5, and we saw this fulfilled when Jesus on earth took a deaf man aside and healed him, and the people marveled saying He has done all things well, He makes even the deaf to hear, Mark 7:37.
We notice you asked the Lord God to restore your hearing, and we want to gently share that it is through Jesus Christ alone that we have access to the Father. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life, no one comes to the Father, except through me, John 14:6, and there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved, Acts 4:12. It is by trusting in Jesus, His death and resurrection for our sins, that we are reconciled to God and can come boldly before His throne. If you have not yet put your trust in Him, we encourage you to call upon His name and believe on Him today.
We pray together now, Father in heaven, we come before You in the precious name of Jesus Christ, Your Son, and we ask according to Your will for our dear one whose hearing has grown dim. Lord, You formed the ear and You are able to restore it, and we ask that You would lay Your healing hand upon these ears, clear what is blocked, strengthen what is weak, and restore hearing as it pleases You for Your glory. We ask for wisdom for the doctors and those advising about a hearing aid, that they would give sound counsel, and if a hearing aid is needed we pray it would be effective and a help and not a hindrance, and that there would be no shame in using the means You have provided through medical knowledge. Grant peace in the waiting, patience in the difficulty of not hearing well, and comfort in knowing that even when our ears fail, You still hear our faintest prayer. Help us to trust Your goodness whether healing comes instantly, gradually, or through continued assistance, knowing that You work all things for good for those who love You. Strengthen faith and draw this heart closer to Jesus, that Your name would be praised whatever the outcome. We ask this in Jesus' name, amen.
We encourage you to continue to seek appropriate medical care while trusting the Lord, to thank Him daily for His mercies, and to keep bringing this matter to Him in prayer through Jesus. We are standing with you, asking for His healing touch and His peace to guard your heart, and we trust He hears and will answer according to His perfect wisdom and love.

Your request concerning the failing of your hearing has been laid before the Lord, and we have joined with you in prayer to the throne of grace.
We know how great a mercy is the hearing ear, for the hearing ear and the seeing eye, the Lord has made even both of them. To be deprived in any measure of so precious a sense is a trial which calls for our sympathy and for earnest supplication, and we do not despise the means which Providence has provided, even the hearing aid of which you speak, for the Lord often works through instruments, yet He is Himself the great Physician.
We have prayed that if it be His gracious will, He would restore your hearing and give you again strength in that sense. He sent His Word and healed them, and the leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations, so that even the least thing about Christ is full of healing virtue. There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ, and pardon and healing are placed in happy conjunction and both bestowed upon His people. We have asked that He who is the Sun of Righteousness would rise upon you with healing in His wings.
Take comfort that God will hear the prayer of a staggering man, and the prayer that has not any sense in it because the man who prays is at his wit's end. A true prayer from one who is near unto distress is a prevailing prayer, for the effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much. Let your prayer rise to His throne out of this low place, and expect that He will be very pitiful and will have compassion upon you in your affliction.
And while we pray for the body, we pray also for the soul's hearing, for faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God. Take heed how you hear, for it is no light thing to hear the Gospel, and there is a weight of mercy that may come from the hearing. Whether with the natural ear made strong again, or through the help that is offered to you, continue diligent in reading the Word and eager to hear it whenever you can, and breathe a prayer that the Lord would give you not only the hearing of the ear, but the hearing of faith.
We have prayed thus, that the Lord would in His mercy restore what is lacking if it be for your good and His glory, that He would make your hearing aid a comfort to you should He see fit to continue your need of it, and above all that He would cause you to hear His voice speaking peace through the blood of Christ, and to know that your sins are forgiven and your soul is healed. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. We have received your request and we are bringing your need before the Lord with care and compassion. We understand how difficult it is when hearing fades, and how much you desire to hear clearly again.
We pray that God, who made the ear and who opens both physical and spiritual hearing, would be merciful to you. We ask Him to restore your hearing according to His wisdom and power, to give strength to your body, and to grant you comfort and patience in these months of difficulty. We also pray for wisdom for those who are caring for you and advising you about a hearing aid, that you would receive good counsel and that every means used for your health would be blessed to your benefit.
We encourage you also to continue to give careful attention to hearing the word of God. Scripture reminds us, he that has ears to hear, let him hear. Even as we ask the Lord for physical healing, we ask Him to keep your heart attentive to His voice, to keep you in continual remembrance of His promises, and to sustain you with hope. As physicians apply remedies little by little for the body, so God often works in us little by little through His word, strengthening and renewing us over time.
Be assured that you are not forgotten. We will continue to pray that the Lord will grant you healing if it is His will, and in all things grant you peace, confidence in His love through Jesus Christ, and joy in hearing and receiving His truth.
