Lydia Needs Your Prayers

Please pray for Lydia. Her marriage of some 16 yrs is ending. Not by her choice. She's feeling pretty emotional right now. Please help me lift her up. That the Lord would comfort her, fill her with peace, give her hope, heal the hurt and pain caused by this rejection, and guide her in wisdom and truth. That she not be manipulated by those not looking out for her best interests. That the Lord would draw her near, and give her a bright future as she seeks to know Him better. Also that the Lord would give me words of comfort and wisdom when I speak with her.

I bring Lydia to Your Throne. I stand with her, hand in hand, praising You and also asking Your grace over this life. Comfort Lydia's broken heart; heal the sadness and sorrow; let her know that You are someone who will never leave or forsake her.Father, she needs Your lovingkindness and comfort. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.

Thanks Friends. Praise God, just got off the phone with her, and she is much better today. Was able to eat and hold food down (hadn't been able to for 4 days) and is feeling much loved by family and friends who have reached out to her. Especially my Dad and Stepmom who she is staying with. God is good. I would love to be nearby and give her a hug and a shoulder to cry on but that's not possible, so I am so thankful there are family and friends around her who are showing her love. Thanks so much. I didn't mention it before but Lydia is my little sister. Praise God she is not only my sister by blood but also in Christ, and I KNOW He will guide her through this if she will continue to seek His face and lean on Him.
